absolutely right!
anyone correct me if I am wrong, but in WWI and WWII, the US, Britain, Japanese and Germans engaged each other in many Naval Battles.
The Russians NEVER did, as far as I know. So, their Naval History of Combat is about zero!

A Russian submarine sank a ship loaded with Jewish refugees after their ship was towed out into the Black Sea (IIRC). Turkish engineers were unable to repair the ship’s engines. All or virtually all were killed.

The only naval battles I recall the Russians engaging in was in the
Russo-Japanese War of 1905. The Japs kicked the Russians butts.

They did get their asses kicked by the Japanese at Port Arthur. Other than that the Russian navy is famous for mutiny.
