anyone correct me if I am wrong, but in WWI and WWII, the US, Britain, Japanese and Germans engaged each other in many Naval Battles.
The Russians NEVER did, as far as I know. So, their Naval History of Combat is about zero!

The only naval battles I recall the Russians engaging in was in the Russo-Japanese War
of 1905. The Japs kicked the Russians butts.

(You don't notice it's a police state until the police come for you.)
They did get their asses kicked by the Japanese at Port Arthur. Other than that the Russian navy is famous for mutiny.
