Communism didn’t work because we were strongest adversary to stop it from spreading, that’s no longer the case.
They now have a ‘fellow traveler’ in the White House, it’s now just a battle of which country will reign as the strongest.

Not completely. Communism doesn’t work full stop — you can’t have one person or group of persons controlling everything about an economy. the variables are too large and it is too complex.
