The pissant pit bull haters will be here shortly to damn the pit bull anyway.
I'm not a fan of pit bulls, and I do believe other breeds could have done just as well.
That said, the owners did everything right. Dog was contained in back yard, not just sitting on the porch, and he even waited to make sure the perps were up to no good. Good doggy.
