Wash Post ^ | Rachel Weiner

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is not hiding his interest in running for president four years from now.

“I want to be part of the national debate,” Paul told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl. ”I’m not going to deny that I’m interested.” Paul’s father, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) is retiring after 23 years in Congress (over a 36-year period) and three presidential bids.

1) I would vote for Rand Paul.

2) He cannot possibly win the Presidency, nor can any other Republican.

From what I’ve seen so far...he’s good.

If he is serious, more power to him. But, he is going to have to organize to combat the election fraud perpetrated by the Democrats. It is massive. Because the Republicans didn’t do it this time, it only empowers the Democrats to be more fraudulent.

Apparently does not matter any more. Perception, optics and Media focus are the operatives here.

Personally, I’ll never vote for a “Bush”, a “Paul” or any other leftover conservative that remains on the books. New blood...new ruthless, dogged, determined, viscious blood that will attack like a Pit Bull and not let go.

Why waste your time and money?! It's stupid to run as a Republican for anything anymore. The commie union knuckledraggers and their commie toads in Barry's state controlled "media" has finished of the GOP. It's over.

For communism to work, the communists MUST HAVE A BOOGEY MAN to scare their slaves with. That boogey man is the GOP, Americans and conservatives. IMHO, the best thing the GOP can do now IS NOT RUN ANYBODY IN 2014. NO ONE. LET THE COMMUNISTS OWN THIS SEWER. It may sound crazy but if you think about it... Without a boogey man, communism fails every time.

Its quite possible that only an American Spring event is going to save this country, but we cannot scare the grannies of the conservative movement otherwise that dipstick Beck will cry.

You know all Beck ever did was try and help us save our country.

Maybe you don’t deserve a country.

Actually, the best thing conservatives could do is to register en masse as Democrats and run for office everywhere as Democrats. Conservative ideas would prove surprisingly appealing to certain Democrat factions, and the leadership would go into convulsions as conservatives started winning seat after seat - now immune to the billions spent on demonizing the Republican brand.

It would be much easier for conservatives to become players in the existing one party Harlem Globetrotters state than to try to take over the Washington Generals from the GOPe and keep losing elections.

Great - he just gave the MSM, Axelrod, Hillary and the Turd party a 3.5 year head start on their smear campaign of him.

The vast majority of people tend to vote for happy warriors, not the kind of person you are describing. Dogged and determined? Sure. Ruthless and vicious? Not so much. Leave the ruthless and vicious to the staff and campaign folks.

I voted for Rand Paul to be my senator, but I doubt seriously that anyone from Kentucky is ever going to be elected president. If there is anything to his recent comments on immigration, he might as well be John McCain-lite at this point.

Well, he wants to have amnesty and open borders, but maybe his policy of legalizing weed will help us all forget it's happening.......

:-)

Rand, stay in the senate please. Don't show everyone in the nation you're as big a fruitcake as your dad.

He's ineligible. He is NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN!

His grandfather's 5th cousin thrice removed was born in Scotland.
