It is only two weeks since his re-election, and his second term remains two months away, but Barack Obama is already blundering again on the world stage, with the kind of gaffes that would have been plastered on the front page of The New York Times if they had been committed by George W. Bush when he was in the White House. Obama's first term was littered with foreign policy gaffes, and there is every chance the second term will be more of the same.
On his trip to Asia this week, President Obama struggled to pronounce the name of Aung San Suu Kyi, the most prominent human rights activist in the world. As The Associated Press reports (hat tip: Drudge Report):
As Obama stood next to the world's most recognized democracy icon, he mispronounced her name repeatedly.
Ever gracious, Suu Kyi did not correct her American guest for calling her Aung YAN Suu Kyi multiple times during his statement to reporters after their meeting.
Proper pronunciation for the Nobel laureate's name is Ahng Sahn Soo Chee.

If just one out of five voters that voted for Palin/McCain had invested enough time to recruit one single new conservative voter Mitt Romney could have won by over 10 MILLION votes.
With America [still] being the beacon of hope for the entire world we could have made a real difference all around the globe by working at this as if it meant something very serious. Those that did deserve huge amounts of credit and sincere apologies from those who used emails blogs and face book to urge others to get busy.
When history records the demise of America, the tag line will be, "They didn't appreciate what they had and didn't want to preserve it badly enough."
Jeez, I wouldn't know how to pronounce the name either.

And people who still worship him, and that includes many veterans, think obama is not responsible for anything bad that happens. There are 60,000,000 or more retards voting in this country. And I refuse to associate with any of them on a personal level. I have no choice when it comes to the public.

Obama has never actually functioned as “the elected leader of the free world”.More like the “un-elected leader of the UnFree World.He has always seemed to me as nothing more than an emmisary for the collective ambitions, desires, and aspirations of a whole bunch of nations and cultures NOT OUR OWN.THEY proposed him, gave him the Nobel Peace Prize just to get the ball rolling, dared us to deny his greatness, and we were too weak, unimaginative,and lazy to do anything but submit.

He didn't just "Let" them die. He had front row seats to watch them die.
There was a mention in the NYT. Of course he only *appeared* to mispronounce Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi’s name. lol. Reporters must be equally inept and ignorant.
Frankly, I am not sure that he didn’t want them dead.....long before the attack.
