I hate the unions but that doesn't make the cheap Chinese made junk on Wal-Mart's shelves any more desirable.I don't understand why people single out Wal Mart. Other stores sell slightly to much more expensive Chinese junk. Go to Nordstrom's sometime and check out its stuff. The difference between Walmart and most of these other companies is that when the stuff is equivalent, Walmart generally charges the lowest price, wherever the product is made, thanks to its industry-leading back office computer systems and its spartan buying practices (meaning its buyers aren't even allowed to accept a cup of coffee from the vendors).

Exactly. I always get a good laugh when people tell me “OH I don’t shop at Walmart, I only shop at Target” I like to finish their sentence for them.. “So you can pay 4 times as much for the same made in China stuff”

I don't get it either.
I buy ammunition at WalMart. Same stuff at better prices than anywhere else.
I buy automobile oil and other fluids at WalMart. Same stuff at better prices than anywhere else.
Virtually everything I buy at Walmart is the same products I would otherwise buy somewhere else, but at better prices.
Am I any better off buying my shooting supplies at Dick's, my auto supplies at Autozone or the rest of the stuff at Kmart, or Target, or wherever?
They're open 24 hours, so I can shop at night when the stores are quieter (and I'm not working). The stores are large and stock a wide variety of products. I just don't see why so many single out WalMart when they're doing exactly what everyone else does, they're just better at doing it.
My favorite part is that every time you shop there, a little union demon loses his pitchfork.
