Campus bans Ann Coulter, invites professor who calls sex with animals potentially ‘satisfying’

After effectively barring conservative columnist Ann Coulter from speaking on campus last week, the Jesuit college Fordham University welcomed infanticide and bestiality advocate Peter Singer for a panel discussion on Friday.

According to Fordham’s media relations website, Singer, a tenured Princeton bioethics professor, spoke from 4 to 6 p.m. in a panel the university promised “will provoke Christians to think about other animals in new ways.”

Singer has long lamented the societal stigma against having sex with animals.

“Not so long ago,” Singer wrote in one essay, “any form of sexuality not leading to the conception of children was seen as, at best, wanton lust, or worse, a perversion. One by one, the taboos have fallen. But … not every taboo has crumbled.”

In the essay, titled “Heavy Petting,” Singer concluded that “sex across the species barrier,” while not normal, “ceases to be an offence [sic] to our status and dignity as human beings.”

“Occasionally mutually satisfying activities may develop” when humans have sex with their pets, he claimed.

In addition to supporting bestiality and immediately granting equal legal rights to animals, Singer has also advocated euthanizing the mentally ill and aborting disabled infants on utilitarian grounds.

In his 1993 essay “Taking Life,” Singer, in a section called “Justifying Infanticide and Non-Voluntary Euthanasia,” wrote that “killing a disabled infant is not morally equivalent to killing a person.”

“Very often it is not wrong at all,” he added, noting that newborns should not be considered people until approximately a month after their birth.

Both Singer and his supporters maintain that ethics experts must often confront taboo topics to arrive at greater philosophical truths.

Banning Ann from speaking had nothing to do with what Fordham's president said which was:

“To say that I am disappointed with the judgment and maturity of the College Republicans, however, would be a tremendous understatement,” McShane wrote in a statement the day before the event was canceled. “There are many people who can speak to the conservative point of view with integrity and conviction, but Ms. Coulter is not among them. Her rhetoric is often hateful and needlessly provocative — more heat than light — and her message is aimed squarely at the darker side of our nature.”

It had everything to do with the president of Fordham being a liberal. Otherwise, a disgusting excuse for a human being like Singer wouldn't be allowed to even step foot on that campus. I am sick of Catholic colleges who don't follow the teachings of the Catholic Church. Why even bother to call themselves Catholic?

“Why even bother to call themselves Catholic?”

That’s an easy one. They can do much more damage from the inside than if they openly declared themselves to be the flunkies of satan that they really are.

I thought it was impossible to shock me anymore.

I was wrong.

How about eating the brains of your deceased relatives to imbibe their life experiences? Maybe someone should suggest that to “Dr.” Singer.

This is a perfect example of why I’m so irritated with the apparent conservative indifference about electing conservative people to elected positions in our universities and other state level educational positions.

Why even bother to call themselves Catholic?

That may not even be a problem for long. With the imposition of ObamaCare I can see every Catholic organization in America following the example of Catholic Healthcare West which changed its name to Dignity Health rather than align itself with Catholic ethics and morality.

Coulter is a nobody. She is a pundit. She carries no weight nor influences hardly anyone.

This is not some "Grand Statement of Principle" by Fordham. It's just silly.

Unlike Singer who provides insight into the greater philosophical truths of bestiality.

Okay, I consider this man not a human in any sense of the word.

How do these people continue to function in their perverseness? I don’t understand why their insanity doesn’t lead them to throw themselves into the ocean or off a cliff.

Ann Coulter has a tendency to tell it like it is, that is why she was banned, that is why any one who is not a mealy mouth will be banned unless they are a liberal.

And that is why God is going to allow the beast to destroy the religious institutes that make up the great harlot.

Has anyone heard of sin, Satan, demons. This is what has infiltrated the minds of these type of people. Debauchery will increase as the end of time gets closer.

And look at the mild comments that have taken conservatives down in recent months.

moral relativism and liberal pretzel logic.

only 50-60 years ago, nuclear family great, kids were a normal outcome of sex, perverts were jailed, animals were pets or on your plate by God’s grace. if you wanted to fool around you paid for your own birth control b/c it was your responsibility for exercising that liberty. and this wasn’t consider just christian thinking, it was inherent common sense for most people across all demographics.

since then the secular experts have abandoned God, and are’going it alone. and the best they come up with is gay parents are better in part b/c no kids, dads aren’t needed anymore, whatever you do if you care about the earth and the rest of us, don’t have kids, and don’t eat animals, but you can screw them. save the planet, abort your baby is their battle cry. and we expect the rest of you to pay for our abortions and contraceptives, we’re morally superior’to you now, don’t you know? we’re saving the planet!

the one thing i’ve prayed for and known I’d have from God saving me , is a sound mind, a mind that can see clearly what is going on around me and know wht’s right from what isn’t. today we’ve fallen so far from just a short time ago, it aparently does take a rocket scientist to know what even secular common sense agreed with God’s word, only 60 years ago.

can’t elect people that aren’t considered for the election process. the people putting candidates up for spots may never give folks who could vote,mp a conservative choice in the first place.

“In addition to supporting bestiality and immediately granting equal legal rights to animals, Singer has also advocated euthanizing the mentally ill and aborting disabled infants on utilitarian grounds.”

In the debate over recognized same sex marriages the idea was postulated that it could lead to a man marring his dog. “Ridiculous! Blasphemer!” said the left.
