Sign outside of business causing a boom in customers
msnbc ^ | 11.17.2012 | wboy

Riley Gunnoe says business is booming at his tool store in St. Albans. He says it's because of a sign outside.

Gunnoe told me he didn't know what was going to happen when he put this phrase on it, "If you are for Obama's policies, please keep your dumba$$ out of this store."

Gunnoe says he didn't know what was going to happen when he put the sign up. "I didn't care. But it really has doubled my business since I put it up so I'm glad I did now!"

Some people in the community say it makes them question whether they would do business with Riley.

Thomas Snyder of Charleston said, "Who knows in the future if I was going to buy tools and my friends referred me to them, but now, why would I want to go there?"

YEP....I found it interesting to note where the “O” signs were in our neighborhood, also....told me where the dummies live. Our Russian neighbor actually confronted one with the question....”Why would you vote for that Socialist?”

There was a business in my general neighborhood that had a life-size cardboard cutout of BO in the window prior to the “election.” It has since been removed (to their back room, I guess). I’ve never patronized that particular business and now have even less reason for doing so.

“This guys business would boom if he also had a WEBSITE, people would order from that.”

That is exactly what I thought. I would buy something.

We have become a nation of fools.
This man had the courage to state a position, his business has doubled, and the only thing the "reporter" could conclude from it all that was of any value, is that "some" ( two or three?) would wonder if they ever would want to shop there.

After all it is pmsnbc reporting. They are clueless. They are not normal ‘buy your tools at Riley’s’ kind of people.

You betcha!

I need a circular saw. TS Irene ate mine and I still haven't replaced it.

Right now I plan to buy "made in china" items ('cos of unions) from any American Patriot.
