There are very few Republicans who were reelected with as little as the 50.6% margin that Zero won. They might possibly be gerrymandered out of their districts for 2022 if the Republicans lose a lot of state houses and governorships -- but that has absolutely nothing to do with the current negotiations. And it's also not very likely. Republican representatives should have zero motivation to roll over. Boehner is another question.

Few who voted for you Barry voted for your policies. They think it’s a high school popularity contest or worse an expression tribal solidarity.

Raising taxes on the rich won't do anything to the deficit!

But it will kill investment.

I would say a significant (not majority) amount of people were deceived by obama. They were ignorant and thought you were cool. Otherwise they are complete Marxist, that see him as opportunity to advance the socialist (Marxist) agenda.

I’ve had it with your idiotic and out context and further omission of reality and facts.

“It’s math”, yeah, I’ve used that argument for more years than you but at least it’s based in a truth with no way to debate the formula or it’s result.

You cannot tax the rich and get anywhere near what you are the Fed G-men confiscate from the so called rich.

In fact, you haven’t even considered what the effect will be on the sub middle class workers.

If the owner is faced with less money to pay his personal bills, as many file 1040’s as sole proprietor, he will absolutely cut an employee or maybe a few and will just work 2-3 hours extra per day.

The truth is they may even buy software that enables them to do their own accounting and get rid of the bookkeeper until they can afford to pay someone else to the work they don’t want to do.

That’s what I and my brother have done. Our book keepers are unemployed or rather they are not employed by us.

We hate it because my organizing skills have always been toss receipts and PO’s in a shoebox and deal with it when I file.

My brother is a bit more organized but he does the same thing and I’m pretty sure many of my friends, who are business owners, do the same thing and have let their book keepers go.

I know of one friend who let the book keeper go and the wife stepped in, as she realized times is whut they is and she needs to do her part.

I think it’s made their marriage stronger for it. She seems pretty happy. More so than than when she wasn’t working a job and took care of the kids and the house.

Now they both pitch in for activities they didn’t before. The husband even cleans and other household activities he never did before because he also got rid of the house cleaner.

A lot of my friends have reduced the house cleaner hours or got rid of them outright.

Some are even doing their own lawns.

I suspect, next year, their will be a lot of house cleaners and lawn guys losing a good amount of their work.

Sucks for everyone.

Thanks Barry. I hate cleaning the house and doing the yard but, I’m recovering from a shoulder operation and I’m thinking once I’m better I’m going to chop 4 to 6 hundred bucks out of my budget and just do it myself.

We’ll see.

“No truer words were ever written. Leftists never compromise. It’s always the GOP and especially conservatives who have to sell out their principles in the name of “compromise”.”

I believe it was Ayn Rand who said (paraphrasing):
“In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.”

I have little doubt that our elections are thoroughly corrupt anymore. Regardless, this despicable, degenerate, tin-pot President and his vile minions can all go straight to hell. I regard none of them as my countrymen. That’s how I’m dealing with it.

A majority of the voters elected a house of representatives that are pledged to oppose your statist agenda.

I’m not sure I agree with that, I am still flabbergasted that a majority of Californians voted to raise taxes on themselves, yet again. Unless they were so illiterate they couldn’t even write their own names, they knew what they were voting for, and they still did it. The track record is right there before them, the money will go right into the pockets of the unions, but they still did it.

Same here. As soon as I knew the election results, my brother and I agreed that if this is who and what America is, we aren’t Americans.

Maybe I dont agree with it either. I would like to believe it, that like a lot of the radio talking heads say is that we need to do a better job educating the population.

However, simply do not think it is true. I don’t think it is possible. They voted for him. I believe there was also a ton of voter fraud.

One problem with the GOP campaigning, it doesnt leave suburbia. It stays out there on the suburbs of every city. It needs to go into each city with some brave and talented people.

Each election we lose a state or two. We cannot keep this up. We need to fight these jerks with our message, and to do that we need to get the hell out of comfort zone.

After careful analysis i have concluded that Romney lost because he was offering jobs to Americans who do not want to work.
