Four Twin Cities residents -- including a Social Security Administration employee in St. Paul -- have been indicted in a scheme that generated real Social Security cards with fake identities.
The conspiracy's start date was unknown, but it went back to at least May 2001 and ended in 2010, the indictment claimed.
Dianne Josephine Chess, 49, of St. Paul, was a service representative for the SSA whose responsibilities included inputting data provided by applicants seeking a number and a card.

The question is....how many fake folks are in the system?
This kind of oversight reminds me of the oversight in loans given to all those bankrupt “green” companies.
Grifter bums with no integrity. To prison, I say. Serize all their property. How do you think they may have voted?

Meanwhile in Florida, 17 were indicted for filing false income tax returns, and obtaining 350K in refunds, based on stolen IDs. The plot was “uncovered” not by the IRS but by a vigilent credit union employee who became suspicious of a bunch of refund checks being cashed through one account.
Our government in action: from the treasury to anyone who asks for it. The current version of social justice.
“Holloway asked Chess to help him obtain Social Security cards and numbers for himself and the co-conspirators, the indictment alleges. Chess allegedly entered false information in the administration’s computerized system for applicants including their identity, place of birth, citizenship status and whether the applicant ever had applied for or received a card before.
Holloway also is charged with theft of public money for receiving $77,318 in disability benefits he wasn’t entitled to — a fraud that allegedly ran from 2002 until last month. Nakao also is charged with theft of public money for receiving Section 8 housing payments totaling $16,332...State court records show that Nakao was convicted of a drive-by shooting in 1997 and also has prior theft and drug convictions. Hinkle has prior convictions from 2003 that involved fraudulent financial card transactions. Holloway’s record of prior convictions dates to 1979 and includes forgery, assault and robbery.”
Here is a novel idea, skip the trial and just hang them in the public square. Why work when the government either gives you free stuff or you can steal it with almost no penalty. The planet will not miss any of these 4 one iota.
The indictment was filed Wednesday, Nov. 14. The 11 total counts in the indictment against the various defendants
State court records show that Nakao was convicted of a drive-by shooting in 1997.....HMMMMMMM? What does this tell us? Gee, I’m not sure. And why was I denied a Fed. Gov’t job 24 years ago because I was an unemployed vet and considered a security risk for a clerical job? (Glad I didn’t get it in the end). Viet Nam had implications, ya know.
This is what drives me nuts when the talking heads on TV talk about more revenue. Why should anyone pay a dime more in taxes when so much of our money is wasted and/or stolen? Why doesn’t any news reporter ever ask this question?
Reckon Obama, will triple dip after he retires? Doesn’t he have TWO SS#’s....maybe more for all we know.
