With President Obama having won a second term as President of the United States, America appears to be divided between his supporters and his opposition. The White House has now set up a system on whitehouse.gov for Americans to create petitions to fix their grievances.

I miss that site, best laugh we have had during this administration.
The person who wrote the petition omitted Columbia University, mentioning only Occidental and Harvard.
I sent the link to local talk shows.
And here I thought that the airing of grievances was limited to December 23 - on Festivus.

The White House is collecting names. Don’t trust them.
I agree with those of you who have expressed concern about this “opportunity.”
They could be using this to create lists of dissidents for later use and it won’t be to help you get those grievances fixed.
The system can also be used to create false statistics like this — we had this petition up and only 0.1% of the populatioon are opposed to blah blah (meaning 99.9% are in favor.) So I would be very cautious, maybe sign in from a location that does not reveal your IP address and sign as Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi. :)
Or if you really want to twist the knife, David Letterman or Chris Matthews.

Those fifty men were sending a message to the guy on the throne in England. They DECLARED that they could no longer be part of his realm... and openlt stated that they would go their graves in support of this new country (for example, see: Patrick Henry)!!!
