Eating Papa John’s has gone political.

More than 17,000 Facebook users plan to eat at the pizza chain on Friday to support the company’s founder and CEO, John Schnatter, who has said President Barack Obama’s health care reform law will cause prices to jump by 11 to 14 cents per pizza, and has said employee hours may be scaled back.

I wish there was a Papa Johns nearby. I’d give it my support.

I live about a mile and a half from their national headquarters. We’ll be having pizza for dinner tomorrow. Incidentally, he is a big Republican supporter.

Guess we’re having lunch at Chick-Filet-A and dinner at Papa’s. We always have Papa John’s pizza at our church services on Saturday night for everyone, including all the kids. Feeds your soul and your tummy at the same time.

You can always support them in other ways than food. They have a gift shop. We did the same thing for Chik-Fil-A since we don’t have one of those close by. Just something to consider if you feel strongly about supporting them!

“I wish there was a Papa Johns nearby. I’d give it my support.”

I’ll do that for you. There is one no more than 30 yards from my house, if that far. I just drive out the entrance to my place, down a few yards, and turn in to their place.

What should I order for us tomorrow?

Your post made me want one except there is none around. Weird how we want something more when we can’t get it. Hopefully, Papa John’s sales go through the roof tomorrow.

ENJOY sending a message with your mouth full. ;) There is nothing conservatives can’t do!

1. As a long time Domino's employee, I always found it amusing that Papa John's employees always looked down their noses at us. Every other company, we'd say hi, how's it going, but not Papa's.
2. I agree with Papa John's on this issue.
3. I can't afford pizza anyway anymore.

Good to see how our “uniter” of a President is dividing the country into two on a daily basis.

LOL. Wow! That’s convenient. I think the closest to me is about 20 miles away. The pizza would be cold by the time I got it .

My son’s school baseball team sold discount cards as a fundraiser. One od the sponsors was Papa John’s - buy 1, get 1 free. 2 XL pizzas for $12 - we have used that card a lot.

“LOL. Wow! That’s convenient.”

I looked at the menu on the web - what about two bacon/6 cheese pizza? That is regular bacon, Canadian type bacon, and six different cheeses. At my store it says it’s $11.00, that would be a large.

How does that sound for you? You don’t list where you live on your “about” page so I don’t know how far you will have to travel to get here.

Domino is where we go...they deliver in 10 minutes and it’s always hot...love the pizza with the pineapple and ham. Tomorrow, it will be Papa Johns for lunch to show support.
