Gov. Nixon announced last week Missouri would not be setting up a health care exchange. Today is the deadline for doing so and the legislature will not be in session until Jan.

This means of course, that good 'ol Uncle Sugar will be setting it up. SCOTUS already said Obi Care is legit.

Weese all sheeples now...

Deadline has been extended. Nixon may have said that exchanges would not be set up, but I don't trust him or some of the liberal legislatures as well as McCauslin.

There's already been efforts to do it under the radar last session. Just saying, if Nixon could have his way we would be setting up the exchanges.

We are worse than sheeple. We are marching to bondage with government bayonets prodding us toward a miserable future.

Ok, I will admit, I do not understand this. Will you please explain how this works? I am sure I’ll be asked by my co-workers, they seem to always come to me about political stuff and I’m ashamed to say, I have not kept up with this other than I know we don’t want it. I know that if the Congress does not fund it, that will help.

Sebelius can run the deadline up to Christmas, but it little matters (in MO) if the legislature not in session. I suppose Jay Nixon could try and call them back for a special session, but it would accomplish very little.

Either way, we are going to have it shoved down our throats. I'm acquainted with several folks in the insurance bus. I asked one the other day what plans they have made to implement Obi Care? Her response was,"You tell me?"

Redstate took the Cannon article and expanded it - some pretty good comments if you are interested. Congress is going to have to “open” the Obamacare behemoth & make changes for it not to collapse under its own weight. I would hope the sheep won’t let the wool get pulled over their eyes again and will know what they are passing this time. Here’s the Redstate link - good read:

"Do you really live in Virginia?"

No. No, I don't. Your question made me look into it, and I've been mistaken these forty-some years. I actually live in Idaho. /s

Thanks for the links, both of you, MM and 50mm.

I hope and pray this turns out to be the case, but since McDonnell rolled over and showed his belly on higher taxes, I don’t trust him.

The only way to fight 0-care is through the states.

Count Ohio out of the fight. Although we passed a citizens' intiative in 2010 to block O-care, Kasich caved this morning and defaulted to the feds.

Unfortunately for us here in North Carolina, we still have a RAT governor until January 1st. She will join the 0bamacommie Medicrush scheme even though we threw she and her rotten Party out of both houses of the legislature in 2010 and gutted the RAT Executive branch in 2012.

Too late...

Very sad to hear. Kasich is acting as 0bama’s useful idiot. The state exchanges will do the dirty work of the Leftists. Nice for Kasich to finish his carrer as an apparachik.

Scott Walker and Allen West, 2016.

Two Republicans that really ARE Republican Conservatives.

The real deal.

Start pushing it to your local GOP committee folks.

Point taken. He is a physician who has taken a leave of absence from his practice to serve as Governor.

Look for the Obamacare Unionistas to start striking in every industry in each state that does this. They will attempt to bring these states to their knees...just as Obama is bringing America to her knees.

Count on it.
