Scott Walker will not implement state 0-care exchange!
Newstalk 1130, Milwaukee ^ | 11/15/12 | Mark Belling

Good news! I just heard on Newstalk 1130 AM in Milwaukee that Scott Walker would announce on Friday that WI would not implement the state exchange. I also heard that a group of GOP governors would do likewise and make a group announcement tomorrow!

How does the state not setting up an exchange help us?

All a state is really doing is expanding their bureaucracy. The Feds make All the rules and regulations.

And if he won’t, a call from Bruce Springsteen and a tub of ice cream will change his mind.

If the Federal exchange, which is funded by the Feds, is not implemented, and the state exchange is not implemented, the mandate does not apply to employers and individuals. The Fed exchanges have no funding mechanism, and spending bills must originate in the House.
However, that being said, I’m sure that the courts will weigh in. Other cases against 0-care will also be heard. But, with a little luck, this horrible law could be tied up for years until 2016 (like real ID). Meanwhile, the stupid blue states will be busy screwing themselves over with more taxes and bloated budgets. Businesses will migrate to the states that do not implement 0-care, employers will not pay the penalty, and the red states will do comparatively well.

Its truly a divided country. Obama was elected by an idocracy who is no longer paying attention now that they elected him.

“...If Walker is prez in 2016...”

Scott Walker and Allen West, 2016.

Think about it...

Make the GOP start thinking about it...

Interesting observation, we should begin to see a shift of home owners and businesses moving to red states.

I’m with you. If the states buck the system, I will move as soon as I can to one that is fighting back.

South Carolina “should not and will not set up a state-based health care exchange.”
- South Carolina governor Nikki Haley

Similarly for Louisiana according to Gov. Bobby Jindal, Alabama according to Governor Robert Bentley, and for Kansas, Alaska, and Missouri. I’m looking forward to Wisconsin officially joining that list tomorrow.

Yes, we have an idiocracy, and idiotologues. Red states without 0-care and blue states with 0-care will create a huge contrast, even greater than right to work vs forced unionization. WE NEED polarization to prove to the idiocrats that our system works better than theirs!

It doesn’t help a state. It means the feds will set up their healthcare

That’s just what I was gonna say. In an article I read, Walker stated “”Why do I want to take on the potential risk to my taxpayers if I don’t really have any true authority about what’s going to happen?”

So he’d have more if the Fed’s come in?

The biggest part of the Obamacare decision may end up being the part that said, by a 7-2 vote (including Obama's Justices), that the States could not be coerced into implementing the federal exchanges.

Only 16 States and D.C. have implemented the exchanges. Most States are not going to help the Liberal Messiah conquer the health care industry.

This the 3rd thread I’ve posted this site, but it’s an easy way to look at the status of the states on this issue.
