Probably because she’s dumber than a box of rocks.
People sometimes luck into certain situations. She’s an amateur trying to play in a big boys/girls arena. She got in over her head, and tried to get even with Broadwell, thinking that wouldn’t touch Petreaus, or come back at her.
At any rate, she’s chin deep in it now. She’s destroyed any chance she’ll be seen as a big player in the future.
She’s toxic.

Boy these two really thought they were something special. I’m thinking they qualify for the special olympics based on how they screwed this up beyond belief.

She seems so sloppy, I doubt any intelligence agency would want to have much to do with her.
My gut feeling is she's trying way to hard to keep her profile high for that, but then again, that just might be a way of hiding her in plain sight.
