More than 300,000 rounds of small arms ammunition was fired for every casualty in WWII. Large quantities of ammo are just that, a number. Most of it gets expended in practice, or during combat, for suppressing fire.

What makes you think the sheeple will put up any more of a fight than they did while we were degenerating into this mess? They won't do a mass roundup - they'll simply go after one Waco or Ruby Ridge at a time until folks are cowering and the few that are brave enough to resist will stand out like sore thumbs to be picked off.
