Time to consider separation, divorce: ... principled Americans must insulate selves from judgment

Divorce is an ugly word.

For devout Christians and Jews, it’s a particularly unthinkable term.

The Bible strictly discourages it, even forbids it, except in the most exceptional circumstances.

But for Americans faithful to the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the heritage of sacrifice and liberty that set apart this country from the rest of the world, it’s time to consider separation and divorce from those who have committed adultery.

The election of 2012 provides more stark evidence that we are not really one country, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. We are already two peoples – those of us still loyal and faithful to the God-inspired founding American principles and those who have gone awhoring after the idols of government coercion and doing what’s right in their own eyes.

In short, as I have written before, America is flirting with profound judgment. If those of us who disapprove of the same-sex marriage, abortion, tyranny, collectivism, the coerced subversion of religious freedom and forced taxpayer support for the spreading of ungodly, unbiblical values and laws want to avoid that coming judgment, it’s time to separate ourselves wholly from participation.

I don’t pretend to know exactly how this works.

America is a big country that is thoroughly permeated with this treasonous, immoral, adulterous lifestyle.

But I am convinced we’ve got to begin forming new communities of the faithful and declare our separation and independence once again, just as our courageous founders did 236 years ago. Like them, we need to be prepared to defend ourselves, our families, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

Barring a miracle, I don’t believe reconciliation with those who have gone awhoring is a possibility. I’m sorry, I just don’t have much in common with Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi and George Soros

I have believed we have needed a National Divorce for a long time now.

Walter Williams has wrote about it in the past.

I’m looking at overseas jobs. Being an expat seems like a good way to go for a couple of years....

This isn’t something bad like divorce. This would be Christians living as they should: in this world, but not of this world. We can sever ties with those who believe the lies of Satan’s Progressive agenda. We can protect and care for those in our faith communities. We can drive those who would corrupt our faith out of our midst. We render unto Caesar as required, but we don’t work for the purpose of surrounding ourselves with unnecessary luxuries (and paying the taxes on the income required to buy all that stuff).

Basically, we live in time that is ripe for converting the pagans. But only if we choose to stop ATTENDING church and instead start to LIVE as Christians.

The American people already seceded from the Union in toto. They dissolved it.

When elected officials and bureaucracies act outside the law they are simply lawbreakers. When the majority of the people vote in favor of the lawlessness that has greatly manifested itself in the highest offices they have withdrawn their consent to be governed by a constitutional government. By what legitimate basis does the United States of America, as a Constitutional republic, still exist?

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

'The People' no longer support that. They voted in support of lawlessness from the highest office on down. They voted against the rule of law. By referendum we now have a banana republic. The USAINO.

I just don’t want to support the regime with my sweat.
If things get hot, I would certainly return. Maybe join a Red Guard unit, which would be amusingly ironic...

One thing this election has done for me is to clarify who I will spend my time with. I have chosen to circle myself with people of like minds. Those that don’t fit my reality are not going to be part of it. Can’t waste my time any longer in educating stupid people. I’m done with that. You don’t want to think of GOD,FAMILY,COUNTRY then I am cutting friends out of my life.

HA....got into it with a “friend” of 30 years who was one of my maids of honor at our wedding.....dumb as a box of rocks, evidently, and not OPEN to hearing anything negative. She did not vote for Obama, but she only wants to hear positive info, it appears. Articles that don’t match her reality are not welcome. I am the “toxic” one...with my “political rantings.” She’s gone....and I feel lightened....Won’t have to look at her hundreds of pictures of she and her dogs, and their unbearable Xmas letter outlining their life, month by month, in 2 single spaced pages.

It is not “divorce.” Our relationship with the state is not a marriage—that is one man, one woman which models Christ’s “marriage” with all the saints, which is a permanent, unbreakable covenant.

We the people (via our agents the sovereign states) have a voluntary association freely made. When the general govt breaks faith the people can institute a new govt. Tryannies drunk with their usurpations resist such separations violently. That is why the 2nd Amendment exists.
