Relaxed yet feisty, Obama lays out second-term agenda

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama laid out his second-term agenda on Wednesday, expressing a willingness to work with Republicans in Congress and a resolve to defy them if necessary.

In his first full-scale news conference since March, Obama said he was willing to compromise with Republicans to forge a deal on the nation's debt and taxes to avoid the "fiscal cliff," a combination of budget cuts and tax increases that will kick in next year if such an agreement is not reached.

But he said he would not abandon his campaign pledge to allow Bush-era tax cuts on the top 2 percent of U.S. earners to expire.

He also launched a feisty defense of his United Nations ambassador, Susan Rice, pushing back against two Republican senators who said they would not support her nomination for a Cabinet post because she made misleading statements about the September attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans.

He also launched a feisty defense of his United Nations ambassador, Susan Rice...

"If you're black, Barack's got your back." Actually, until I read on FR that comments against Susan Rice were racist, I didn't know (or care) myself.

Obama is willing to compromise with Republicans as long as the GOP gives in on everything. I’m pretty confident that such a deal can, and will, be made.

Feisty?
More like snotty.

But if I was in the catbird seat I might get a bit overconfident too.

Obummer`s Universal Laws for Avoiding Physical Cliffs:

The Law of Diminishinmg Returns:

The bigger govt gets,

the smaller the incomes of everbody gets.

The Law of Standard and Poor`s:
When big govt gets bigger, the standard is for everyone to be poor.

The Law of Fight or Flight:

When big govt starts fleecing,

big money starts fleeing.

The Law of Attraction:

Opposites attract, except in San Francisco

The Law of Conservation of Energy:
All U.S. energy must be conserved in order to drive up the price of gasoline to $5.00 a gallon.

Obummer`s First law:

Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external farce moves it Forward, when it is actually moving Backward.

Obummer`s Second law:
VII. The relationship between a Big Govt. object’s mass m [mess], its asseleration a, and the applied farce F is F = ma. Asseleration and farce are victors. In this law
the direction of the Govt. farce victor
is the opposite of the direction of the asseleration victor.

Obummer`s Third law of the MSM press:
For every action there is an opposite and unequal redaction.

The First Law of Thermodynamics:
Tax dollars for govt. energy projects can be changed from one form to another,
but Tax dollars cannot be created but can be destroyed.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics:

In all Govt. energy exchanges, if energy enters the Govt. system,
no energy leaves the govt system, and the potential energy of the govt system is zero..

The Third law of Thermodynamics:
The entropy of a presidential substance is zero if the absolute birth temperature is zero.

An object tends to stay at rest unless it is on a golf course.

What about pushing the limit on taxation, then let Obama try and attack that, say, what if choosing to push the limit to 250,000, or even 100,000 annually, although I guess it wouldn’t work because the lamestream media doesn’t care if Obama flip-flops, oops!

“Relaxed yet feisty, Obama lays out second-term agenda”

Start with a c.
Then add an o.
Then put in a pair of m’s.
Next comes u.
Followed by n.
Just finish it up with ism, and there you have it!
