Protesters on Wednesday flooded Madrid in a massive show of force against biting austerity policies, capping a Europe-wide day of strikes and protests.
Many of the demonstrators, who also turned out in large numbers in other parts of Spain including in northeastern Barcelona, wore T-shirts declaring their allegiance to education and public health.
"Public health for all," said some shirts.
"We have the solution, send the bankers to prison!" protesters chanted in a sea of flags of the main CCOO and UGT unions, who organized Spain's second general strike in just eight months.
Many tens of thousands of people joined the rally in the Spanish capital, swarming around the main squares, where red-and-white union banners were strung up declaring: "They are taking away our future."

One of the tactics of communists is fomenting civil unrest, leading to the destabilization of the government, and then to revolution.

Absolutely. If anyone hasn't read "The Coming Insurrection", I ask that you do. It's these Euro communists blueprint. They are pissed that they were promised communism and that it hasn't come to complete fruition yet. (I guess that would be North Korea or Cuba) They fully believe the future involves only engaging in the activities that bring you enjoyment or fulfillment. They honestly believe enough will still choose to work and with technologies (not sure who is creating, maintaining or running these technologies-I guess the morons who choose to work for nothing, all 74 of them) that this is achievable.
