Bordertown Laredo will not be back for a second season.

But Laredo will be featured on the majority of the national geographic hit, Border Wars, which will premiere Wednesday night.

Border Wars is back and the city of Laredo is set to be featured on seven of the ten episodes this season. You can expect some changes from what was seen on Bordertown Laredo.

"The difference between Bordertown and Border Wars is one, Bordertown consistently concentrated on Laredo PD, Border Wars actually expands a little bit and bring in U.S. Border Patrol, Customs, other law enforcement agencies, and Laredo PD was one of the other agencies they picked this year."

Officer Lucky said National Geographic was only suppose to be here for about two weeks, but the crew ended up staying for three months because of the high volume of crime while the show was here.

"Laredo wanted to be a apart of the show mainly because we want to show the public that a problem does exist. We have a drug problem in Laredo, just like every other city. Unfortunately, we're along the border, we see the influx of all the drugs and a lot of its passing through, unfortunately, some of it is staying behind and its getting into the hands of our kids, of our youth."

The show is set to premiere Wednesday night at 8 p.m. on the National Geographic channel.

Laredo residents can expect some surprises on the show.

"You're going to see a lot of good action. Don't be surprised if a house that comes out on the show is your next door neighbor."

Laredo is expected to be the first city featured on the premier tomorrow.

Been watching the Border Wars show for quite a while. Lots of episodes from the Texas Border, including the Valley and Laredo and El Paso.
