Big scandals from little leaks grow. Watergate was at first only “a third-rate burglary.” Bubba thought he was only trying to cover up the details of a failed real-estate scheme down on the White River. Humiliation, resignation and even an impeachment followed.
History warns presidents that second terms are never Sunday picnics, and the unfolding — exploding is more accurate — of the story of what really happened on a violent night in Benghazi, Libya, and the days that followed is Barack Obama’s introduction to his next four years. We probably ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
Nearly everyone suspects that Mr. Obama, trying to avoid questions about the mishandling of Benghazi, was running out the clock, hoping to stumble past the election before being overtaken by facts and hard reality. Some of the congressional Republicans are talking bravely now about getting to the bottom of the sordid story, and the Democrats give every sign of attempting to squelch and evade: let’s move on, nothing to see here.

Even if we find out that the oval office is where the deceit started, its current occupant will get a free pass. A compliant media and a public that is 50% brain dead will guarantee that.

I think it is much more likely that the FBI planted the classified docs on that computer. The stench of cover-up is all over this investigation.
Benghazi was a non-story to the MSM and now they are consumed with the cover-up part. This thing has more legs than a centipede.
We can expect, in his pursuit of justice, Boener to be as solid as jello in an earthquake.
I well remember how the media jackals hounded Nixon out of office for what in comparison to Benghazi was nothing. Now when it is becoming apparent that people in the White House Situation Room, possibly including Obama himself, watched four Americans get killed in real time video and did nothing the media is silent.
I don’t believe anything will happen to the Obama administration. These guys are professionals at corruption and deceit. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. They make Clinton look like an amateur and that’s scary.

You are correct. The media will back O, the steeple don’t care and the republican politicians are spineless. It doesn’t matter what Obama did he will skate.
That and the Senate would never convict this scum, no matter what he did.
Congress found Rangel, Waters and Holder guilty of lotsa things and NOTHING happened. Why will this be any different? Unless I miss my guess, the result will be “SO WHAT”. Lets focus on solving the other issues first UNLESS we are willing to “hang the guilty”, which, by the way I support.

0bama was notified immediately and automatically when the Benghazi consulate triggered the "Imminent Danger Notification System" alert. He did nothing.

Denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. The lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack were fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. The inaction during the attack was something more than that.
The failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion IMO.
ONE man had the authority to act that night.
ONE man deserted his post!

zero is the official Reader of the TOTUS. Reminds me of Chance the Gardener in Being There. That is because Valerie Jarrett is the POTUS.
At this stage, it could be proved that Obama personally called off the rescue team and nothing will happen to Dear Leader. He might issue a statement that the risk of collateral damage was too great or this was a necessary sacrifice for Muslim outreach and world peace; and that would be the end of it.
