President Obama is considering asking Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) to serve as his next defense secretary, part of an extensive rearrangement of his national security team that will include a permanent replacement for former CIA director David H. Petraeus.
Although Kerry is thought to covet the job of secretary of state, senior administration officials familiar with the transition planning said that nomination will almost certainly go to Susan E. Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
John O. Brennan, Obamas chief counterterrorism adviser, is a leading contender for the CIA job if he wants it, officials said. If Brennan goes ahead with his plan to leave government, Michael J. Morell, the agencys acting director, is the prohibitive favorite to take over permanently. Officials cautioned that the White House discussions are still in the early stages and that no decisions have been made.

You think this is bad, he is also making Susan Rice Sec. of state. Not he “might”, he WILL. She WILL be Sec. of state. It has already been decided. Can you believe this? And Obama is just getting started here with 1,453 more days to go. This country is going to be in absolute ashes when this POS is through.
What a disgrace to everyone that served in Vietnam!!!!!
(see Africa/Kenya)
Yep. Well there is one bright side: He can’t blame Bush anymore and I’m going to very interested what they say when the Kenyan raises the unemployment percentage into the double digits.
He’s a lying traitor that lied under oath when he said he had witnessed and “participated” in war crimes during his lengthy tour of 4 months in country. Many “Winter Soldiers” who testified had never sat food in country. Others were liars that never left the states. Kerry has despised the US military for his entire life. So he would make a perfect Sec of Defense for his military/American-hating boss.
Bureau of Fake Indian Affairs.-Even better.
Trying to get ANYBODY with an “R” next to their name to, actually, win ANYTHING in Massachusetts is next to impossible, especially at the highest levels of Massachusetts political office.
