I take solace in the fact that it is unsustainable and will collapse upon itself, and those who depend on it the most will face the consequences of their sloth.
Perhaps the best thing at this point is just to get out of the way and give him everything he wants. Without the GOP obstructionist bogeyman to point to, all the King's Teleprompters and all the King's Infobabes will be unable to spin his way out of "you break it, you bought it".

We did that by default between 2008-10 and still got blamed for everything that was wrong with the country.
