you are lucky....when I got married 32 years ago neither of us were political animals....we both share mostly conservative points of view in out day to day life, but she voted with her union loving father who still blamed the republicans for the great depression and was in a union.
I thought it was cute and it meant nothing till she voted for Clinton...twice...we had some minor arguments about it.
the nastiness really peaked with this current POS that is in the White house.....she watches the crud on msnbc and takes that as NEWS not Leftist Propaganda which it is....
I try not to talk politics around her but it is no way to have a marriage....
