That would be some milestone to surpass Saudi Arabia as the world's largest oil producer, the benefits of which are a game-changer, both politically and economically. All dependent on if Obama hasn't already destroyed our capacity to produce oil by then.

The downside of this will be having to watch Obama, and millions of other smug, moronic Democrats take all the credit. The same people, who mocked Sarah Palin, and any other Republican, who called for energy self-sufficiency — these same ignorant, smug, treacherous twits — will be taking the credit for something they claimed was impossible.

Maddening. Absolutely maddening.

Didn’t DOI just lock down 1.6 million acres of land to oil shale drilling? I could have sworn that I saw a thread here on the subject.

That would be nice, wouldn't it. Reasonable gasoline prices forever.

However, this will never happen. nobama will figure out a way to stop this.
