Major Post Election Events Are About To Change Americans' Lives Forever.

The Financial Markets Have Yet To Begin Factoring In What Lies Ahead

The stock market may have found a temporary bottom as investors try to step away from the election and focus on the economy. The problem is that despite the election being over, the two dynamics are more interdependent now than they were before the Obama wins.

The really big picture is that daily life and the financial markets are now becoming one single entity. The days where markets were focused on factoring in the future are now past, at least for now. And making matters worse, we don't see any evidence that the market has quite caught up to reality fully yet.

What few seem to understand is that the United States is now a truly divided country. Republicans are not happy about the outcome of the election. They aren't sure why they lost, but they know that they lost because of something that they did. The question is whether they want to change their ways or dig in further while they try to convert larger numbers into joining their ranks, or whether they want to explore totally different avenues of adjusting to the new reality of their lives, higher taxes, government mandates, and a centrally run economy.

Interestingly, few Democrats are truly giddy. They won the election. But now they truly hold the country's future in their hands. A large portion of the public truly believes that Democrat policies will right the ship. They might. And yet they might not. So now it's all real. The pressure is really on. The Democrats are on their own. Few Republicans will help them. The divisions will widen.

The democrats can not blame Bush-43 in 2016. Now they hold the proverbial tiger by the tail. If life for most Americans is not better in 2016, the tiger will devour the democrats in 2016, if not sooner in 2014. I don't think the free loaders are going to rejoice in 2016 since there simply is no money to keep expanding benefits. I hope and pray Americans are smarter than Greeks. But I won't hold my breath.

This no time to give up our conservative beliefs. Obamanomics will not improve the economy unless he follows in Clinton's steps. He won't, he is much more of an ideologue. Although for political savvy's sake which wins elections, republicans must avoid dumb statements, such as made my Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock. Those 2 were likely republican senate seats which are now democrat. We need to win elections if this country can be turned around. As the ABBA group sings, "Winner take all, loser must fall".

They will blame Bush. The question is, will the same Obama voting idiots fall for it still? Ah, YEAH!

They will always, of course blame Bush & republicans for all their failures. That is a given.

However after 8 years of economic and moral funk, a large sliver (5-10%) of the electorate might see the light. Otherwise we have gone beyond point of no return. In 2016 with another democrat president and congress we will have become Greece.

The pain and suffering Greeks are experiencing right now should be publicized front and center so the masses can learn something.

We’re in the rip-roaring “Obama recovery” and not able to break under the trillion a year deficit barrier.

This isn’t going to end well.....

Make the destinction Republican v Conservative. Conservatives are not wondering what happened. They do not question it and they do NOT think they did anything wrong. If you don’t remember this, search Mark Levin, for starters.

Even O’Fielly had a piece on this mid-show today re: traditional Americans.

Republicans are John Boehner, Newt, and verious handwringers claiming shock or capitulationg. We are watching a major cover up about Benghazi while listening to people (or turning them off) state Hillary should go next for pres, not to a congressional hearing to explain her involvement.

Conservatives are not doing this. They are going to the Constitution which is all and only what these aforementioned people are sworn to uphold and their cynicism and secret agendae don’t count, as much as expectations are lowered.they have sworn to GOd to protect and defend this country for people to be free to worship Him and they are accountable. And that’s where to go when the money runs out, as it is not a document which depends on materialism (that’s Marxism).

When you can get elected by having the federal government give out free cell phones with your name attached, and expand food stamp recipients by 65%, it doesn’t matter what happens in the real world. The candidate with the best handouts in the last 6 months gets elected. If this were high school (aiming high here) handing out treats to everyone on election day would get you elected. Welcome to Obama’s Amerikka.

True Conservatives are never the problem. The problem is democrats are in power 1) Presidency 2) Senate. What percentage of House are true conservatives? My wild guess is 25% at the most.

In real life, people in power have all the power. Election losers have zero power to change anything. As the lefties expand their numbers among the elected, things will get worse, not better.

So what is this writers path to change our path. No “taker” group is going
to give up anything. And politicians know that. Add in a divided gov and
it will not change. The Gov keeps kicking the can down the road. The road
is about to run out.
I wish I could share his optimism, but the facts don’t support it.

Since these DC hacks are unwilling or incapable of dealing with the tough
Choices, the only outcome left is a collapse.

we have to realistically question whether we'll ever have real, free elections again...

hopefully, thru due diligence, we can win at local and state levels...its our ONLY hope....

Just saying, there is a distinction between conservatives and republicans and it should be kept when reading this article.

The Republicans and all conservatives must start campaigning now for the 2016 elections. The Democrats already are. Start rubbing in every failure, every frustration, every scandal, and be relentless. Buy the ad time and be relentless every year. Follow the Dem’s own Alinsky rules and constantly portray them as inhuman, cartoonish characters who are to blame for everything, and deserve everyone’s scorn. Sound harsh? The Dem’s have been doing it for years.

What you described is exactly what happened in Greece. SO long as there are lenders to lend you money, handouts get expanded. But the bubble can only grow so big. It explodes every time.

The pain and suffering in Greece right now is what we have to look forward to unless things change.

The write has no cure. The ONLY cure can only come from Americans. But before that happens, unfortunately we might have to experience Greece like conditions first. Spain is on track to follow Greece. Italy will follow Spain. France will follow Italy.

In the meanwhile, the formerly socialist countries of Eastern Europe, Russia, China, India, Brazil, etc have made a turn towards capitalism.

Time will not stop the Dems from blaming Bush. The only thing that will? Explaining to people that liberalism, not bushism, got us into this mess.

The longer the lie is allowed to stand, and not be challenged, the stronger it will become. This economy will be blamed on Bush til someone challenges it.

And thanks to Rove for allowing the Bush name to be trashed from 2001 thru 2008, no one will touch it now. Of course, this is Bush’ fault too, all that new tone stuff.

I find this entire fiasco of an election, a pseudo-president for the past 4 years, elected representatives who do nothing more than guarantee their own retirement/health benefits to be full of sh*t.

NOTHING but more cr*p from politicians.

Where ARE our leaders?

WHAT is being done?

Rhetoric and more rhetoric...

NOTHING.

The GOP in the House should step aside and give Obama his entire economic agenda. Let the tax cuts expire and watch the chips fall where they may.

The voters wanted this socialistic mess. They are clamoring for the government to take charge of their lives. So, let`s give it to them... all of it.
