Saw a Keep Asheville Wierd bumpersticker recently. True?

The area around and in Asheville is strange. There are a lot of new age types, old hippies etc. but there are also a lot of conservative Christians.

I recall a Christian group appeared in the auditorium of Ridgecrest Assembly. I think it probably held two or three thousand and it was packed with young people. Sort of surprised me.

In 25+ years Asheville has gone from a stagnant mountain hub town to a thriving city of eclectic tastes with a strong bent on left wing fringe wackos and every variety of perverted and/or misled culture that makes up the democrat party.

Still a fun place to spend an Saturday afternoon.

It’s one of those places where the downtown is packed on weekend nights and most everyone is from somewhere else.

And there are about a dozen breweries; New Belgium and Sierra Nevada are opening up large scale operations there within the year. Good brew scene happenings.
