FBI Agent in Petraeus Case Under Scrutiny

EXCERPT

The FBI agent who started the case was a friend of Jill Kelley, the Tampa woman who received harassing, anonymous emails that led to the probe, according to officials. Ms. Kelley, a volunteer who organizes social events for military personnel in the Tampa area, complained in May about the emails to a friend who is an FBI agent. That agent referred it to a cyber crimes unit, which opened an investigation.

However, supervisors soon became concerned that the initial agent might have grown obsessed with the matter, and prohibited him from any role in the investigation, according to the officials.

The FBI officials found that he had sent shirtless pictures of himself to Ms. Kelley, according to the people familiar with the probe.

That same agent, after being barred from the case, contacted a member of Congress, Washington Republican David Reichert, because he was concerned senior FBI officials were going to sweep the matter under the rug, the officials said. That information was relayed to top congressional officials, who notified FBI headquarters in Washington.

Anyone, caught in a mesh between the CIA, FBI, the State Department (her employer) and the White House (to say nothing about scorned women) should get something fast. A lawyer is a start.

The People magazine crowd will now learn about Benghazi.

I hope you're correct but I think the only part they're going to cover is the sex angle.

Get the feeling things are flying apart?

Elmo's turns pedo. McAfee is on the run for murder. Petraeus lets the little head do the thinking and compromises the CIA. His girl friend threatens his other girlfriend who calls the FBI, but the FBI lead agent in the case just ends up sending her pictures of himself half nekkid. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Obamalama ding dong gets reelected, and the Repubs figure the only way to beat him is to be like him!? Newt and Callista become regulars on The View. I smell smoke. Is that a fiddle I hear?

“Me thinks the media should have looked into Ms. Kelley’s family background and finances, but I digress.”

Funny you should say that, I have been reading about Jill (Khawam) Kelley and her twin sister Natalie Khawam today myself. Very interesting family indeed.

Odds are the fibbies are finally working up the mechanics of a blackmail scheme ~ among friends ~ on behalf of a well monied foreign interest.

Remember, these people ~ the FBI ~ proved during the anthrax investigation that they weren't able to find their buttocks with their own hands!

Clouseau would fit the “crimes” but to get to to bottom of multiple adulteries, perhaps the UK could lend us Tom Barnaby.

Look at what her father just said. This is a smokescreen for the huge real story.

The “blame the video” testimony was a result of blackmail using the affair as leverage. Petraeus first said they got no request for help and seemed at odds with the White House. Then the flip.

But it could be bigger than that!

The press (finally!!) is all over tbis story. At the heart of it is Benghazi so that’s good news for our side.

Do we know where former Rep Weiner is now? That’s about all that’s missing from this story. That and a hot lover from Argentina. Or toe-tapping in bathroom stalls. Or Columbian hookers.

I think the media has looked into their backgrounds, but are not reporting what they found. It wouldn’t fit the narrative.

Kelley gets anonymous e-mails saying “I saw you touch him provocatively on the leg” and she goes to her FBI pal? She doesn’t go to her Internet provider or the local police? And then her FBI pal turns it over to a cyber crimes unit in the FBI? Nope. Another nice try.

“Frank, I have some e-mails here that I want your cyber crimes unit to look at.”

“OK. Let’s see ‘em. ‘Stay away from him’? ‘I saw you touch him under the table provocatively’? This is it?”

“Yeah. What do you think?”

“I think if you ever bother me with nonsense like this again, I’m gonna lock you out of your own computer. Go do some real work.”
