FBI Agent in Petraeus Case Under Scrutiny
Wall Street Journal ^ | November 12, 2012 | DEVLIN BARRETT, EVAN PEREZ and SIOBHAN GORMAN

EXCERPT

The FBI agent who started the case was a friend of Jill Kelley, the Tampa woman who received harassing, anonymous emails that led to the probe, according to officials. Ms. Kelley, a volunteer who organizes social events for military personnel in the Tampa area, complained in May about the emails to a friend who is an FBI agent. That agent referred it to a cyber crimes unit, which opened an investigation.

However, supervisors soon became concerned that the initial agent might have grown obsessed with the matter, and prohibited him from any role in the investigation, according to the officials.

The FBI officials found that he had sent shirtless pictures of himself to Ms. Kelley, according to the people familiar with the probe.

That same agent, after being barred from the case, contacted a member of Congress, Washington Republican David Reichert, because he was concerned senior FBI officials were going to sweep the matter under the rug, the officials said. That information was relayed to top congressional officials, who notified FBI headquarters in Washington.

So, an investigator sends a shirtless picture to a woman who complains about being harrassed. What could possibly go wrong?

This is turning into a Monty Python sketch.

Still, none of this changes the fact that the president watched them die in Benghazi and refused them help until they were well and thoroughly dead. All they needed was for one of those drones to be launched armed. Help wasn’t hours away, it was right there.

If they were friends, she might not have minded and the photos may have nothing to do with the FBI case. It may just be a way for top FBI officials to get even with the whistle blower.

What a soap opera. The next thing I expect to hear is that Broadwell had plans to drive 24 hours non-stop, wearing adult diapers, in order to follow thru with a kidnapping of Kelly.

Was the FBI agent a gay porn star also?

Did he get a prostitute hook-up from Secret Service?

I think this is just a smoke screen to get the real story of Obama's failures ( not protecting our people) from being the top story. David Petraeus; even though he has a mess on his hands; he should tell what he knows and let the chips fall. He owes that to the American people and more so to the soldiers. The media is the driving force behind the libs/socialist power. The media( as the the democrat party) is our worse foe within.
