White-Collar Heavyweight Abbe Lowell Steps into Petraeus Fracas (Clinton impeachment lawyer)

Chadbourne & Parke white-collar criminal defense heavyweight Abbe Lowell has joined the fray surrounding the resignation of Central Intelligence Agency director David Petraeus, who stepped down Friday in light of the Federal Bureau of Investigation revealing that Petraeus had an extramarital affair with his biographer.

Several news outlets reported Monday that Lowell is representing Jill Kelley, a 37-year-old Tampa woman who complained that she was receiving threatening emails, which turned out to be from Paula Broadwell, a West Point graduate who chronicled Petraeus's life in a book published in January that she coauthored. Investigation into the emails led to the discovery of the affair between Petraeus and Broadwell.

Judy Smith, a Washington, D.C.-based crisis communications manager working for Kelley, confirmed Lowell's involvement in the case to The Am Law Daily. Lowell was not available for comment Monday, according to Smtih.

Step back, look a the overall story being promoted - an affair with a four-star general and head of the CIA that is outed by a bitch fight with another woman having an affair with the same guy that gets outed by an investigation by the FBI over threats between the cats?

WTF? This is made in Hollywood for daytime TV soap operas.

Now think - what type of person watches daytime soap operas AND thinks about things with the emotional sophistication of a thirteen year old girl?

So why target them in particular?

Because Petraeus has the goods on Hillary over Benghazi, and Hillary is afraid she can't stop him from talking. So if she can't shut him up, she's got to discredit him. But she only has to concern herself with her brain-dead zombies, so she needs to give them a hate scenario. Now let's see, what kind of hate scenario works with females with the emotional maturity of sleezy, foul-mouthed, thirteen year old girls?

How about a cat fight between two women screwing the same guy behind his wife's back?

In HillaryWorld, this automatically makes the guy a sleazebag who they could never trust, who lies when he breathes, who receives ten minutes of hate a day just for existing and who - especially - will be immediately spit upon by thirty million Hillary zombies the moment he DARES try to shift the blame for his sordid, ugly, rotten, male life onto their queen.

I'm telling ya, this is how it works. Hillary's GOT to hold on to these females, and if - and when - they find out she's been murdering ambassadors and committing treason, it's going to give them pause. Probably not a long pause, lasting only between sips of latte, but still, it's a crack in the armor of their loyalty stupidity that Hillary can't risk.

Lowell is a liberal but apparently somewhat of an honorable one in his unflinching fealty to citizen rights. I know if i was in deep kimchee I would call him in a heartbeat. Hillary backed out of testifying thinking Petraeus would go first. She planned on getting her story straight after she heard what Petraeus had to say.

Saxby Chambliss and Petraeus decided that Petraeus should not tesify just yet. His underling will take the stand. Hillary can't run away forever. Turns out she may have to take the stand before she hears what Petraeus has to say. It will be interesting to see how Petraeus later contradicts her.

Gonna hafta disagree. No way for Hillary to make him look good compared to the fact that his wife looks like half her followers. I'm not saying Petraeus's people aren't waging thier own MSM war - after all, he was the head of the CIA. He's not exactly impotent here (pun intended).

On the other hand, Broadwell is EXACTLY the type of cold-blooded shark Hillary would have used to set up someone who she needed leverage over.

So Kelley has lawyered up. My my. Why would she do that? And a rather famous criminal lawyer at that. Why? Her FBI pal is under investigation. Why would this poor, aggrieved woman need a criminal defense attorney? What kind of criminal charges could you get for receiving nasty e-mails and going to the FBI? Why would her FBI pal be sending her pictures of himself shirtless? Could just be pictures of the guy at the beach. We haven’t seen the photos. What’s Kelley’s maiden name? Anyone know? Where’s she from? Things get curiouser and curiouser.
