Gingrich ‘dumbfounded’ by Obama win
Yahoo News ^ | November 12, 2012 | Claudine Zap, The Ticket

Add Newt Gingrich to the list of Republicans coming to terms with the loss of the presidential election. On Monday, the former speaker of the House sounded reflective on the "Today" show, saying, "We need to stop, take a deep breath and learn." He added, "The president won an extraordinary victory. And the fact is, we owe him the respect of trying to understand what they did and how they did it."

Gingrich said, "But if you had said to me three weeks ago Mitt Romney would get fewer votes than John McCain and it looks like he'll be 2 million fewer, I would have been dumbfounded." …

“I don’t trust the government that ran the elections so I don’t trust the numbers. What I do know is that Romney conceded without so much as a whimper”....didn’t he say he was lawyered up in case of a close election?

He sure came through big where it counted, though. Such an efficient operation.

“He did. What they didn’t factor in is that the left would dilute the votes of traditional American groups by a combination of bringing out the hip hop generation youth vote, the Sadra Fluke type of idiotic woman voter (no apologies from me for stating the truth), continuing to bring in the minority vote, and by fairly extensive voter fraud.”

It is a problem for the conservatives, we feel guilty when we lie, cheat and steal, the left doesn’t.

No. If this is a warning about us getting too far away from God, then that should be heeded in earnest. You don’t win against the devil by employing his devices. This won’t be a win for the liberals either, and they’ll realize it too late.

I owe Obama NOTHING, especially not respect. He views me as a typical white person, a bitter clinger. I'll refrain from posting my view of him and his wife.

Newt did attack on that front in part because it was where Romney is vulnerable and in part to forshadow

So one GOP candidate should attack another because he made money as a capitalist? And this is considered helpful?

In fact, it turned many grassroots conservatives against Romney and helped spread the big lie.

Spreading lies and class warfare is not a good strategy from a GOP candidate. The Dems should be left to do that trash.

Newt, get this straight:

I do not owe that Godless, Israel-hating, America-despising, business-destroying, arrogant, narcissistic, demonic Marxist piece of garbage one shred of respect, nor will he get it from me.

Dear God, in the Republican party, Allen West is the one Rottweiler among a bunch of teacup poodles.

That's it in a nutshell

Well, Newt, what if they did it thru substantial voter fraud? Does that command our respect?

“It is a problem for the conservatives, we feel guilty when we lie, cheat and steal, the left doesn’t.”

This is a dilemma in the world in general. Christianity is, aside from the sacred religious aspects, an instruction set for how to get screwed by others - at least in the short term. I don't say this with disdain. If it wasn't for my faith I would not be alive. No question. Also, I believe, independent of the religious implications, that the messages put forth in Christian doctrine about how to conduct oneself in life are the absolute right ones.

I don't know how to deal with this conundrum, and would love to hear other opinions. Our military employs psy-ops and disinformation, etc. Is that wrong? What's the balance? Do we have the right to defend ourselves against those who want to destroy our way of life?

Yep, I am really angry how he just said “Ummm, Ok, you won Obama”....especially after hearing how our election judges were locked out of polling places and had to go get a court order to get in....now there is a big clue of fraud going on...

If women did not vote, o would be out of office. Period.
If men did not vote, o would still be in office. Period.
No women voters equals no carter, clinton, clinto II, obama, obama II. What more do you need.
