0bama went to great lengths to discredit and destroy Petraeus. Just like America, except a person. Started the moment he was sent to Afghanistan. He did not fit in with the Socialist regime so was slowly lured, took the bait and now, as you say, a great diversion from four Americans abandoned by their Commander-In-Chief to die in Benghazi. If Congress doesn't call Susan Rice to testify and ask her "Who told you to say 'protest over a video' on the Sunday news programs following the attack", I give up.

0bama knows that if he avoids addressing the nation on major events such as Fast & Furious, Solyndra, Benghazi, etc., chaos ensues and distrust in government grows.. Plays right into 0bama's grand plan.
