Gingrich, Kristol, etc...they are all progressives...they are just trying to promote the progressive agenda...no surprises. Gingrich knows full well the history of the GOP - he does everything he can to suppress it.

:)

So where exactly do you propose to find new conservatives?

I don't propose to do anything, I will not live through this administration. My fighting days are long past, so I have promoted myself to official carper.

Well, it certainly won't be hard to find plenty to carp on.

Romney and McCain didn’t even go on the O’Reilly Factor, also unlike Bush. These were cowardly campaigns with much to be cowardly about. They were flawed candidates from the get-go, with lots of stuff in their history they had to be afraid would come up in any interview. This forced them to play it safe and be on the defensive most of the time which is always a losing position to be in.

We can’t nominate any more RINOs. The base has to be enthusiastic about the candidate from the beginning so that the candidate can spend his time bringing the independents and moderates over to our way of thinking instead of constantly being worried that he’s going to lose the base.

If the party actually signs on to amnesty or tax rate hikes, we’re going to be in major trouble. They’re going to lose the base and we’ll have a repeat of 2006 in 2014. The only thing to do now is to stonewall Obama every step of the way to ensure a repeat of 2010 in 2014. 2016 is going to be difficult again if they nominate Hillary Clinton so we need 2014 to go well.

“We live in Realville, Newt. Pray tell us how to do it without paying tribute to the 47 per centers from our non-existant stashes just to get them to join our efforts to save the nation.”

Bravo, wonderful rant. Dead on. Expert analysis. Well done.
