This was tried a couple of hundred years ago. After a few dozen stones were removed they gave up.

Without its antiquities, few tourists would want to visit Egypt. It would just be an oversized sandbox, like Libya. I guess they don’t want our Yankee dollars after all.
The last time they took charge Alexandria had a Great Library, the Sphinx had a nose and the Pyramids had smooth sides.

America is being destroyed, why not Egypt? WTF. The whold world is next with no America and it’s allies to prevent it. Maybe Russia or China may step in and save Earth. What a joke.
I read a fictional novel back in the 90’s that I can’t even remember the name of, but the storyline was remarkably similar to how things are unfolding now. Egypt is taken over by hardline islamists, who then go about destroying the great pyramids, while the US government is completely infiltrated by islamists. The similarities are just too weird. It was just a pot-boiler novel I read out of boredom, but the name escapes me. The storyline involved an archeologist and his love interest, whose father was a bigwig in the egyptian antiquities business in Cairo. Perhaps someone else remembers it.

Not the Colosseum. So many Christians were martyred there that it is surely a festival site in Islam. It will be restored and put back into service.

The policy of destruction of idols is traditional, Quran based, obedience to Allah. A faithful, practicing Muslim should support, aid and abet the demolition of the Pyramids.
