Then Meet the Press would say that us Originalists espouse outdated ideas from a bunch of rich, white guys who are ancient history. This has already been said by Lefties.

The other tact the Lefties take against our founding fathers is to present writings from Tommy Jefferson and others and interpret (twist) them as evidence that some of our founders actually wanted socialism.

Democrats/libs are always giving our party and candidates advice. Our party leaders actually follow the advice. It’s crazy.

The eternal, after election report from the media is, if the republicans win, it is a mistake that is explained away by bad, or incomplete communication of the democrat message, which accounts for the mistake that the voters made, and/or GOP tricks.

If the republicans lose, it is because they were too “right wing” and out of touch, and need to move left.

Not only Sarah, but where was Newt, Herman Cain or Rick Perry at the RNC? Ok, I’ll even go out on a limb here - where was Ron Paul? He is a kook in some areas, but he has some good ideas, especially when it comes to the Federal Reserve. The RNC alienated all of these people and their followers from the party.

I suspect that even if Romney had won, he would have surrounded himself with moderate, left-leaning RINOs in the cabinet positions. Let’s face it - the GOPE is Dem Lite.

I don’t think Sarah could have won if she had been nominated
due to the hatchet job they did on her and her family, but she sure shouldn’t have been excluded from the convention. Sure, it was a scheduling conflict. Does anyone know what she was doing during that time that she couldn’t show up to give a speech and rally the Tea Party?

The stupid Republicans want to go after the Latino votes now, and still exclude the TP Patriots. They do so at their own peril once again.

STEVE SCHMIDT..The guy who caused the problems for Palin.
He is no conservative/an operative for moderate policies. How many years have these same people been in charge and we are being set back further vs advancing our beliefs of work, family and respecting our traditions.. It is as plain as can be..The people running things are the problem! Not the base or the ideology of conservatism. He, like many other elites are ashamed of certain groups of people.

They’re ALL (RINOs included) in cahoots to get shed of Rush Limbaugh. In fact, chomping at the bit. - The day after the election, Rush said that the country has become where the “takers” outnumber the “producers” and went on to say “you can’t fight Santa Claus (Baracka Claus)”. He was more on target than Rove and the rest of them; and he got a lot of flak for it the next day from everywhere. They’ve bullied their “educamated” liberal crowd into being afraid to listen to Rush, for fear of being called stupid. He IS right a lot of the time.

In an obvious allusion to Rush Limbaugh, a clip of whom host David Gregory had played earlier, Schmidt snarled: “Our elected leaders are scared to death of the conservative entertainment complex, the shrill and divisive voices that are bombastic and broadcasting out into the homes.”

Hey, it was RUSH who shot his mouth off and made Sandra Fluke a cause celeb giving us the "War on Women." He's been around long enough to know better.

I know their game and so does anyone that says ignore them. Even in the natural exultation at the election of their man, they are bereft of human decency. What is likely afoot, is that just like the Bolsheviks of old, they wish to absolutely destroy even the voices of a weakened opposition.

They cannot even let well alone. For them, the healthy debate and the give and take of honest Americans is old hat. They are virtually totalitarians. They wish to completely eliminate the Winston Smiths within a democracy, that still follows the dictum, which is:

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

I find it amazing that the right refuses to fight back on these charges of extremism... I think voting for infanticide is an extremist position that is well outside what Americans would tolerate of their politicians but they elected a President that is that extreme. When the left is allowed to determine what defines extreme than of course even moderate republicans will be charged as such.

DITTO, Exactly right!

Listening to Varys the Spider Schmidt is a waste of time. Any Republican consultant who can’t tell the difference between Sarah Palin and a crap candidate should either get a fast-food trainee job or kill him or herself.

And speaking of killing, let’s go ahead and kill this “conservative entertainment complex” thing right freaking now. Because these days pretty much every news network and program is to some extent entertainment-driven, some more than others. Viacom ought to buy MSNBC so they can use the airstaff as God intended: Building a political “news” satire network around the twin tentpoles of &ldquop; The Daily Show” and “The Colber Repor”.

Steve Schmidt, who managed John McCain’s 2008 loss, argued that “to too many swing voters in the country, when you hear the word conservative now, they think of loons and wackos.”

And who ensured that, you smarmy POS? Which includes all of the MSM?
