I find Hannity's new found religion on Amnesty as bewildering as Chris Christie's walk on the beach with the One. Not only is it bewildering, but Hannity's waffling is infinitely more damaging in the cover that it will provide our establishment Republican types (who are always on the prowl for something new to cave on.)

I've never thought that Latino's were conservatives in waiting if only the GOP got right with illegal immigration and amnesty. In my mind they vote Democrat because they believe in Democrat ideology - just as it's spelled out in the articles that I linked above. If you want to get more Latino votes, you're going to have to find a way to turn their belief system away from liberalism and move them to conservatism. How we go about that is open to debate. But what is not debatable is what will happen if we cave on amnesty. Immediately, there will be 11 million new "legal" Democrat votes. They will not swing to the GOP anymore then they swung to George H.W. Bush after Reagan granted the last Amnesty.

In my view, we need to start inundating Hannity's email, website forum, and phone to get his mind right and stop the damage that he is likely going to do.

Sean is a bumper sticker Conservative. He will soon be repeating what Limbaugh and Levin say.

I can’t stand Hannity. Listening to him is like nails on the chalkboard. He’s got a big empty head.

What do you consider amnesty? Letting the illegals stay? You can’t deport all of them. I’d rather get some measure of control over the border first. Although security has already been pretty well shot, because the Democrats want as many illegals in the country as possible.

I couldn't agree more. Sean is not a thinker. He's a parrot. He parrots GOP talking points and conventional wisdom's - nothing more. He's not capable of deep/thoughtful analysis. That's why I don't listen to him and why I do listen to Rush.

Sandy took a heavy toll on Hannity's trees and yard; he's been whining about it since the storm hit. I think he's just trying to find a decent landscaper to clean up cheap.

a digital memory chip does a better job of repeating the same mantra of crap over and over and over than Hannity. He’s not bright and he has become so boring I’d rather watch paint dry.

Put Judge Jeanine Pirro on in his spot. She’s brilliant and a conservative who can frame arguments and probe issues rather than toss a damn football.

I could care less what Hannity says about amnesty because he can’t even persuade conservatives, much less the people we need to persuade. Listen to what Lindsay Graham says about immigration reform, people like Hannity shooting off his mouth is part of the problem.

Lurking behind the illegal Hispanic crowd is La Raza and Reconquista. They don't want either R OR D, but they find the D so incredibly pliant to their cause, of course they will align...until they can retake the southern US. The Muslims will be right behind them to take the rest. Perhaps Texas & Louisiana have something.

And, the way to turn that belief system is to kill off the entitlement spigot that has been built and manned by the libtards since FDR. Get the government out of the welfare business. Get back inside the constraints of the Constitution. The latino vote will either follow, or it won’t. IF it doesn’t then we need to be prepared to take the next steps.

How do we do that? Start local. Add States, by dividing up the fifty we have into 150 or more, thereby reducing the undue influence of the metro areas and providing more Senators, more EV, a more level playing field for everyone.

Campaign and message intensely for conservative values and conservative principles ALL YEAR LONG, not just during election cycles.

Prepare, prepare, prepare...challenge election fraud at EVERY TURN, and don’t walk away from the confrontations.

If we are to salvage this grand experiment, we must fight for it.

The correct solution is open to debate. But, it's not my main thrust here. Right now I'm focusing on stopping the damage from Hannity's "coming around" on this Amnesty thing.

Why Hispanics Don’t Vote for Republicans

It is not immigration policy that creates the strong bond between Hispanics and the Democratic party, but the core Democratic principles of a more generous safety net, strong government intervention in the economy, and progressive taxation.

A March 2011 poll by Moore Information found that Republican economic policies were a stronger turn-off for Hispanic voters in California than Republican positions on illegal immigration.

And a strong reason for that support for big government is that so many Hispanics use government programs. U.S.-born Hispanic households in California use welfare programs at twice the rate of native-born non-Hispanic households. And that is because nearly one-quarter of all Hispanics are poor in California, compared to a little over one-tenth of non-Hispanics. Nearly seven in ten poor children in the state are Hispanic, and one in three Hispanic children is poor, compared to less than one in six non-Hispanic children.

The best evidence available on Hispanic public opinion, a big election even poll from Latino Decisions and ImpreMedia, makes it clear that this is just a fairly liberal voting bloc. Just 12 percent of Latinos support a cuts-only approach to deficit reduction, and only 25 percent want to repeal Obamacare.

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/332916/why-hispanics-dont-vote-republicans-heather-mac-donald

seems to contrast the latest media meme that it’s ALL about immigration policy.

"Compromise" suggests BOTH sides get something. What if amnesty/"path to citizenship" meant you become a citizen, but cannot vote(as Rush suggested) for 5 years or more?(I would add not get any welfare)

Hannityis like the Democrats. He thinks the most important thing in the world is winning elections. He is wrong. Sticking to one’s principles is what makes one an honorable person. Going against them, makes one a hypocrite.

What I found MOST disturbing were his pics of homosexual marraige and his comment that AMERICA is changing and perhaps we conservatives should go along.

What an ASS! Hannity has been selling his soul for quite sometime now. Anything for a win eh! Is that it sean?

I’m calling on Cardinal Dolan to excommunicate this POS, ASAP!

Hannity admitted in a Newsweek interview several years ago that he uses Limbaugh for show prep. He's an empty suit in the intellect department.

Anyone who thinks any significant portion of 20 million newly legalized poor latinos will suddenly decide to be self sufficient and reject the party of government goodies ought to be made to EXPLAIN how they think that will happen. At least.
