The company announced the job reductions after it reported a sharp drop in third-quarter earnings on slowing industrial demand. DuPont has not announced whether hourly jobs also will be cut at its Richmond-area operations

You can bet the hourly jobs will be cut next

I truly, truly hope EVERY layoff, firing, elimination of jobs in the coming years goes to an OBAMA VOTER. Seriously.

Let them all fail—because they’ve failed America by putting that numbskull into office for another four years.

There’s nothing to say those being laid off live and/or vote in Richmond. People DO commute to work in the area, you know.

I retired from DuPont after 31 years. If you are off of the books by Dec. 31st, they don’t have to pay you vacation for the following year.

GOOD! This is a GOOD thing!

America doesn't need people manufacturing what are mostly dangerous chemicals and other substances. These people are needed to boost the welfare rolls so they can come to love and respect Obama and his Democrats as the possessors and givers of life and of all good things in America.

ALL HAIL OBAMA!

Richmond is Tim Kaine (Now Sen. Tim Kaine, D-VA), territory. It was a shithole under his mayorship and the only way they got some urban renewal was to have someone burn down half of the main drag. He also left the state with a $2 billion budget deficit. That’s why the Dumbocrats voted him as a senator. Now he can wreck the whole country at taxpayers’ expense.

Some of us in Virginia know what the Democrats have wrought. I pulled my daughter out of school in Richmond because of the drugs, political corruption, and police misconduct.

Unfortunately we live in northern Virgina where the Democrats continue to wreak havoc on the working class.

Just wait till sequestration decimates our defense industries companies. I can see Democrats jumping out of windows that bear Obame for President stickers.

Share the pain. I’ve got enough for a dozen people and it is only getting worse.
