“Now we’re going to have a hearing next week, and the man who knows the facts, David Petraeus — he’s the only man who can really tell us what the CIA knew, what they did, why they did it, how they did it — he’s not going to testify. This is a very convenient way to get the administration out of a very very difficult situation,” Mr. Giuliani said on Greta van Susteren’s show.
“But this is inevitable. This is like Watergate. This is all going to come out. It may take a month, it may take five months. But this is all going to come out. And every single new coverup they do just makes it much much worse.”
Mr. Giuliani was skeptical about the timing of the resignation, coming just days after the re-election of President Obama to a second term.
“This has to have been suppressed. … They didn’t just find out about this,” said the former mayor, now a security consultant.

Remember in one of the GODFATHER movies where the guy was going to testify against the family, and then, at the trial, the family brings in the guy’s brother from Sicily? The informer doesn’t know anything, but the message he gets is “We can get your family”. Have any of these grifters testify, and then, in the middle of their testimony, have Petraeus walk in with a couple of guys in suits and just sit down. It would be worth it just to see the look on these grifter’s faces. They’d be thinking, “What’s he doing here? Is he here to listen to my testimony? Will he refute what I say? Are they trying to scare me?” It would be wonderful. He wouldn’t have to say a thing.
Rumor mill has it the Van Jones will be appointed CZAR of the CIA.
Yes, but the MSM will make it all about Petraeus, Broadwell and the sex and nothing about the details of what happened with Obama and Benghazi.
Rumor also has it that Paula Broadwell, Alotta Fagina, and Ivana Humpalot are the same secret agent.
And, I might add, a former Associate Attorney General.
Correct, this was a setup almost 2 years ago. Everyone needs to check out the NewsMax article on this. I think 0zer0 set Petraeus up from day one and the FBI had to know about this affair in real time. According to the article, the FBI suspected the issue in the Spring 2011 when Petraeus was commander in Afghanistan at that time. 0zer0 appointed Petraeus to CIA in April 2011, but he didn’t assume the office until Sep 2011.
The article says the FBI was investigating this for months because Petraeus was sending thousands of emails to her. That had to be in 2011. This means that the FBI had to know what was going on in real time, probably as Petraeus was being vetted for the CIA post, and certainly before he was confirmed, and that is why they couldn’t believe 0zer0 wouldn’t fire this guy, let alone hire the guy.
I don’t see any explanation other than 0zer0 knew about this (or someone high up in the admin did, and didn’t tell anyone... FBI director Mueller had to know, and that means Holder had to know, and probably National Security Director Donolon). That means 0zer0 had to know, and is lying about this when the WH says they first found out about it Wednesday after the election.
I bet 0zer0 knew Petraeus was compromised when he appointed him and counted on this trump card to be used against Petraeus when he needed it, and Benghazi is it. The timeline proves it.
Whether Petraeus has any smoking gun information and will spill it is completely unknown. But for me, I am convinced that 0zer0 knew about the affair and deliberately appointed and retained an obviously compromised CIA director to have something to blackmail him with later. This explains why a compromised CIA director was ok to appoint and retain for over a year, but now a year after the affair, is a liability only because Benghazi is hitting the fan. This confirms everything you need to know about 0zer0.
They really were not interested in saving Stevens life. The two SEALS bothched the original plans to remove Stevens and Obama did not know what to do but just be Present and hope that no one would catch onto the fact that he would not give the clearance to save the 4 lives. I really think he feels the investigation will not happen because of the helpful media coverage that he has enjoyed for 4 years. And he may very well be right. They may not cover this story like they pretty much have let Fast and Furious drop. We shall see.
I was always suspicious of the way that the left cozied up to Petraeus, after they dubbed him “General Betray Us” and Hillary did her “suspension of disbelief” grandstanding.
