The GOP is just an arm of the Democrat Party in my mind now.

For some reason the #GOP is just laying down, why?

They have to know they'll never carry an important election again.

Cowardice? Are they complicit with the fraud?

Are they complicit with the fraud?

Yes. Do you remember the Sherlock Holmes story “The Hound of the Baskervilles”? The key to the mystery was the dog that didn’t bark.

This was for all the marbles. The Republicans should have gone to the wall to prevent this de-stuffing of the ballot boxes via electronic voting machines. This is where all the missing voters went. But they didn’t? Why?

The only logical conclusion is that the Democratic and Republican establishments sat down and declared a truce. These were the terms.

A few people in the polling industry (Silver) and the Mainstream Media (Stephanopolous) had the advance script.

Romney never saw it coming. His own party betrayed him because Jeb Bush couldn’t be elected this year, and Jeb doesn’t want to wait until 2020 to run. The parties have agreed that it’s “Game on!” for 2016. Tea Party people will be told they can choose between Jeb or Hillary.

What the Republican Establishment fears is someone they can’t control. They don’t want another Reagan who will rock the boat.

Do you recall Fred Thompson’s non-campaign in 2008? To prevent the nomination of someone outside the core group, the Republican Establishment brought in Thompson and others to function as football blockers. Their goal was to help McCain get across the goal line, which Thompson did by preventing conservatives from uniting behind one person. They knew McCain couldn’t win in that political climate, so it was a simple matter to tank that election by doing nothing.

Palin was a threat, so they joined her opposition in driving her out of the governorship, and then they co-opted her with a rich contract with Fox News. She is finished in politics, and they intend to keep her that way.

Did you notice how Gingrich, who was yesterday’s news, jumped in at just the right time in 2012? This was the same tactic, now aimed at keeping the Tea Party vote divided. The Republican Establishment wanted Romney, but they didn’t want him to win.

Pat Buchanan was right. The two parties are simply two wings on the same bird of prey. We have become Venezuela. The oligarchy now has a means to rig elections and a captive press, owned by just six companies, that will not investigate. Fearless investigators will meet the same fate as Breitbart.

Check this out. It's a report on the 2008 election written on November 5, 2008.

It says Obama got 63M to McCain's 55.8M. I've seen reports putting McCain's final total ranging from 58M to 60M. So McCain added between 2.2 and 4.2M votes to the total reported the day after the election.

I believe John Fund wrote a book about voter fraud.

Looks like he wrote several.

The short answer.

Habit.

You are absolutely correct. That is the only scenario that makes any sense.

That might be the clearest, most insightful post I have read on here to date.

More thoughts this AM, It didn't appear ROmney knew, it seemed her really believed he was going to win. However, what nags at me are two things, well three:

Why did he lay down so hard in that third debate?

It's said that he immediately cancelled all staffs credit cards. Literally, some went to pay cab drivers on the way home and found the cards disabled.

Why did he concede so quickly?

It's all so disheartening. I believe we are headed for a global, authoritarian system and nothing is going to stop it.

Excellent post.

Conservatives need to leave the GOP. Let it go extinct without us.

It appears to be mostly whites who voted for Obama who stayed home. Just not enough of them for him to lose, since his 2008 margin was so high. Perhaps these were people who were alienated by politics or disliked both parties, but simply bought into Obama's "transformational" rhetoric. Or perhaps they were swing voters we had a chance with, but Romney turned them off. Research really needs to be done into why so many former Obama voters stayed home instead of voting for McCain.

It's looking now like about as many people showed up as in 2004, except the results were flipped between R and D this time. But the extra voters who came out in 2008 disappeared.

What are you talking about? Gingrich joined the primary early in 2011 when everyone else did. The establishment kneecapped him out of the gate to help Romney by piling on him over his criticism of the Ryan plan. He then clawed his way back up by showing his true Tea Party bonafides in the debates. He was the ONLY threat to the Republican establishment in the primary and they in conjunction with Romney pulled out all the stops to destroy him.

“His own party betrayed him because Jeb Bush couldn’t be elected this year, and Jeb doesn’t want to wait until 2020 to run.”

Thank you for your post - it makes a lot of sense.

Regarding Romney being betrayed because of the elites actually wanting Jeb, I had this same thought but wondered if I were giving in to thoughts of conspiracy that had no basis.

I actually started wondering months ago why on Earth Rove wanted Romney to win, when he’s wanting Jeb Bush to run. I think you’re over the target, unfortunately for the USA.

The Washingtonians stick together, these elections are just to see which faction (communist or blue blood country club banker) gets to control the money they extort under penalty of imprisonment from us working chumps outside of the Beltway.

People still looking to DC to do anything other than raise taxes and take away more freedom no matter which faction is in charge are seriously demented.

Thanks to the imposition of Universal Suffrage via Constitutional Amendment and a media that serves as the Washingtonian propaganda machine, there is no electoral solution to the Washingtonian problem.

Unless the terrorists do us a favor and take it out (unlikely, since even they know the political class in DC make them look like the Salvation Army), the Washingtonians will be there until they steal our last dime.

Then the collapse and reset will begin.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that many in ‘talk radio’ has the script, as well. We are all being played.
