I’m afraid that if you are waiting for David Petraeus to do the honorable thing, you’ll be waiting forever. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. He had an affair. He lied to Congress. Why in the world would anyone think he’ll be honorable now? As for him being too old for an affair, he used to go for five mile runs with this woman. In his mind, he’s a real stud.

Man, that post is scary insightful.
Yes, there is a ‘plan’ to keep men [in general] from coming to knowledge/power: look at the feminization of school.
Yes, there is a ‘plan’ to keep military-men from acting: it’s the “follow your orders”, “don’t question the higher-ups”, “the constitution doesn’t protect you” trinity.
Yes, there is a ‘plan’ to keep men in general from acting: it’s the “respect authority”, “you’ll be leaving your responsibilities”, “you can do/change nothing” trinity.

Look at how those who voted 3rd party, because Romney was unacceptable (as liberal, statist, socialist, and/or mormon) are demonized for “handing the election to Obama”; or how Ron Paul supporters are demonized even though his economic policies are radically different than the republican or democrat policy; or how the religious are guilted down with “submit to every earthly authority” into compromising with corruption, completely ignoring that our leader’s authority comes solely from the governments’s respective Constitution and acting contrary to that authority they become lawless rebels and authorities no longer.

On the political landscape _everything_ is put forward to favor the democrat-republican party — remember ny-32? That’s where the RNP endorsed the Democratic candidate over the republican Tea-party candidate that won the primary. They are after power and they mean to have it. — and they are utterly afraid of someone who is powerful and just.

Petraeus became dirty when he took an appointment from Obama.

The regime may want it to look like that, really General Petraeus should have security.

Cleanup all the loose ends.

It may be like the baptism scene in the Godfather movie.

Thousands of posts about Petraeus and his mistress, barely a word about his wife of 37 years. It’s hard for me to imagine dealing with my spouse of several decades having an affair, much less to have it broadcast so publicly around the world. Mrs P also works for this Administration. What a pack ageof filth they are.

I don’t think Petraeus would have gone this route, with public humiliation of his wife, had he a choice, unless he perceived that it would be better in the long run for their relationship and for the country.

Before this is all over, we may see VP Hillary or Pres. Hillary even before the 2016 election (if she has the goods on Barry & Slow Joe).
