Yes your friend may be a nice person but her story does not add up. I know people who don’t pay taxes and make a salary.....they are playing with fire if you ask me.

No, the Constitution says I have the God-given rights including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You, and everybody else that gets a deficit-funded government paycheck are taking from people who pay for it all today, and the kids in the future who have to pay for all the spending that comprises your TWO government paychecks.

I really won't miss the guy in the cube behind me. He is pretty much just pulling down a paycheck. He does nothing and the only thing management does in response is slip him bad deals when they think they can get away with it.
Thank you! This fed employee did NOT vote for Obama because my job has been hell since the day he took office. Since that time I’ve lost 4 analysts to private sector jobs or retirement because they don’t want to work on Obamacare. I am doing the job of 3 staff, leading for two states, with a pay and hiring freeze that goes back to I don’t know when. Still, I am happy to have a job, a good one, I’m satisfied with my pay, and I would never ask for a raise. I don’t know who appointed this woman to be interviewed but she does not speak for me.

Our founding fathers nor do I put God in a “box”. What you don’t understand, besides basic economics, is that if God were to give out government jobs, for instance, that it would be contrary to the God-given inalienable rights repeated above. God does not contradict Himself.

You’re right. I used a broad brush. However, most government workers I come into contact are not the brightest bulbs on the tree. Post Office, for instance. I don’t really consider defense contractors government workers. They’re not in the system with paygrades and such, are they?

What percentage of federal employees would you estimate believe the federal government is too big and has too much power, vs the percentage of people in the private sector that believe that?
