EL CAJON — The husband of an Iraqi woman who was found beaten to death in March in their El Cajon home has been arrested in connection with her death, El Cajon police said Friday.

Kassim Alhimidi, 48, was booked into jail Thursday evening on one count of first degree murder in the death of Shaima Alawadi, a 32-year-old mother of five. He was arrested at the El Cajon police station, authorities said.

Alhimidi is being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

“After months of hard work, we determined this homicide was the result of domestic violence and not a hate crime,” El Cajon Police Chief Jim Redman said at a news conference.

Many were quick to label this a hate crime. I recall one kook's comment on CNN's website wherein she said, "What have we become America?"

FReepers called it as a domestic from the first post. There was no other reasonable possibility.

The wife was going to Texas I believe, and was getting a divorce... the moslem could not deal with this, so he killed her

He’ll walk! This is a waste of money; an exercize in futility. He’ll demand to be tried under Sharia, and under sharia he can have as many wives as he wishes, and kill as many as he wishes, for any reason whatsoever.

When the chips are down, a gutless judge will cave and release him to sharia in some muslim stronghold here or in Europe. He walks.....Just like Major Hassan in San Antonio will./Highly P.Od!

Yeah, she probably thought that because she was in America she could get a divorce. Obviously she thought wrong. Nice that the police nailed the b*stard.

We really can't judge. he was just expressing himself culturally. /s

Where is N.O.W. when it comes to this stuff? Where are all those women that voted with their Vjjs? The silence is deafening.

Somebody help me to understand. Liberals HATE Christians of any sort but won't say a thing about islam. WHY?
