I think I’ll pass on the 2 and run Kyle Busch. He’s been somewhat consistent lately and seems to have a fast car. If it can just stay in one piece.

It was 10F here this morning. Just threw a big log in the wood burning stove fireplace insert.

Ponds are frozen over & the goldfish are on their own. Starting to snow again and church is now a no-go. I miss my wood burning earth stove. Gas fireplace w/blowers is OK but the ambience (and smell) of a wood insert is 2nd to none. Watching the mule deer out the back window watching me. They’re waiting for me to put out some bird seed so that they can rob my feeders.
Patience will be key in the race today. I always worry when I’ve got 23 drivers waiting to wreck ahead of my favorite and yeah, its JJ cause NASCAR wouldn’t allow Bond to drive his Aston Martin DB5 in the race.

12 degrees this AM, didn’t check it really early, tho.
Had almost 2 inches of ice on the horse tanks to break with shovel. Stallion stands right there & waits for me to swing that shovel.
That must take some work to keep ice clear in the middle of winter! I just made 3 trips to the wood shed to bring in more fire wood. The wood stove is blazing away. Waiting for the Broncos-Panthers game to come on.

I take it that an immersion heater couldn’t keep up w/the cold or are you afraid your horse would use it as a spa??
#48 is a legend but I’ll be pulling for that #2 car. He’s really showed me alot more maturity that some of those other drivers. I’d like to see Penske win a championship also.
