Coal company fires 150 workers in response to Obama re-election
NBC News ^ | 11/9/12 | Allison Linn

Posted on 11/09/2012 12:38:53 PM PST by Kaosinla

In the agenda, he predicted the total destruction of the coal industry by as early as 2030. He said conditions for his business would deteriorate because of more regulation and taxes, weaker economic activity and reduced energy pricing.

In the prayer, Murray wrote, in part:

“The American people have made their choice. They have decided that America must change its course, away from the principals of our Founders. And, away from the idea of individual freedom and individual responsibility. Away from capitalism, economic responsibility, and personal acceptance.”

He concluded by asking God for forgiveness for the layoff decisions.

“Lord, please forgive me and anyone with me in Murray Energy Corporation for the decisions that we are now forced to make to preserve the very existence of any of the enterprises that you have helped us build. We ask for your guidance in this drastic time with the drastic decisions that will be made to have any hope of our survival as an American business enterprise.”

Welcome to Obama 2.0, idiot (50%) America.

Destroy business and business will not only stop hiring, they will layoff.

Enjoy, you Obama fools, as you take us all down with the ship.

We warned you.

Try selling those Hopey Changey plates for spare change and food.

Headline reads 150 workers fired.
Were they fired or laid off? I think there is a difference.
But then again I would not expect the lib press to know that.

This is since the election in all but a few cases, most notably Darden(Red Lobster-Olive Garden) which announced earlier.

Doesn't include Lockheed-Martin as I don't yet have firm numbers.

Maybe I should add a date column?

Hawker-Beechcraft, Bartikowsky Jewlers, now this.

The small businesses are dropping like flies. And the election was only a few days ago.

But everything is really okay, according to the gleeful info babes on tv. Yep - they get to tear their children’s body apart from limb to limb and throw it away legally...what more could a modern womyn want? That’s FREEDOM girls!

Kroger and Darden have announced they will cut workers hours to 28 to keep from paying the ObamaCare tax. I’m retired ATT and my insurance will go up $300 a month in January. Time to go back to work, .......but where?

A lot of them did not. My wife’s nephew is a miner in Sandy UT where they laid off 102. He wasn’t laid off but is worried as hell. He and the other miners there voted for Romney and told the mine workers union to stuff it.

As for the OH miners, could’nt tell you.

What I do believe is that when the coal miners really start getting laid off and the power grid goes to crap that the miners will be united in going after (physically and figuratively) the mine union bosses.

With the election, they’ve already demonstrated to their own satisfaction that people will believe them over the evidence of their own eyes.

No need to collate the data, just give ‘em a number that suits the Agenda.

Perhaps, but at least we have an R House. That wasn't the case in 2009. OTOH Baraq has no limits on him whatsoever relative to another election, so any executive order that he can pull off will be law.

I have supplies bought that had to be purchased well before Nov.6th. I must use them. Will be sold out of product around June first, probably. I have a seasonal business. Might as well just say what it is, a wholesale greenhouse. Energy and other costs have crushed me the last 4 years. Mitt’s energy policy was my last hope. Hussein’s hate of energy and business has done it’s damage. He will cause countless others to give up their businesses too. Working for a net loss really sucks. I held out for a repub president. Tuesday was a crucial day and America lost.

Expect the homeless to vanish soon.

I don't mean from the front page, that happens whenever a (D) is in the WH, I mean vanish vanish.

They can vote every bit as much when they are dead, and the (D)s no longer need live bodies for the fig-leaf of fair elections.

Think you'll finally do something about your Jews, as we did with ours?

What... did you do?

We put them in cattle-cars and shipped them east... always east.

To the Ukraine... to the resettlement camps?

To resettle them... in the air.

Excuse me?

To turn them into smoke. [twirls finger in the air] They burned the bodies after they gassed them. They had to, so nobody would ever know.

He is also going to reduce many employees hours to under 30 hours so he doesn’t have to provide healthcare.
