I will reduce my income to a comfortable level of sustainability and not make one dime more. Of course it means I cut back on purchases and will hurt the economy. But I no longer care. The American public voted to screw themselves, I am merely the instument they demanded to carry it out.
Things are going to get really bad really soon.
The British are much more adept at social commentary than America. It is why their “Shameless” went on so far 8 seasons, and that pathetic HBO ripoff of American “Shameless” is so inept and downright unoriginal.
They’ve taken off from their first two seasons - who knows when they’ll be back, probably to go find some new writers who won’t rip off the original “Shameless” so badly we are left thinking they hired those drugged up assholes that were responsible for “Lost”.... Hollywood needs to get a new game - they are so lazy now, you’d think they were Democrats.
Give me a number, Barry. Define “fair share” once and for all. Let everyone see what you’re really about.

Exactly. So how is it done? How is Boehner gotten rid of and the old farts of compromise network gotten rid of.
I much prefer gridlock to ANY compromise. Compromise is what has brought us to this place.
I would much rather have some young fire breathing congressman who is going to be saddled with a lifetime of debt leading the charge than Boehner who has already stolen all he needs and has a FAT government pension that is inflation adjusted for life....something almost none of use have.
So why does his razor-thin margin of victory represent a mandate, but Americans voting overwhelmingly to put the Republicans in control of the House (where taxation originates) is not a mandate to prevent tax hikes? Each and every House member was up for re-election. Surely the Americans knew that they were voting for lower taxes by not only returning the majority to the Republicans, but by actually increasing the margin.

The American “Shameless” is on Showtime. We do rip off an awful lot of their programming, but Britain has their own “Who’s the Boss?” and “Friends,” so there’s that. I can buy that they’re better at it than us, though I’ve seen my share of bad British tv. What’s the difference between good tv and trash tv, really? More like six of one and half a dozen of the other than Shakespeare and my elementary production of Tom Sawyer.
I think we started it.....I remember a program in England when I lived there called “Steptoe and Son” a show about an old man and his son who ran a junk yard...even had the old Aunt Ester type... Sanford & Son.
Boner Needs to tell Reid and Obama to go to hell,This is America, we dont single out Law Abiding Citizens and Castigate them because you have a Chip On your Shoulder.
