Just days after Tuesday’s presidential election, President Barack Obama invited Capitol Hill leaders to the White House for debt and spending meetings next week in order to discuss the country’s looming ‘fiscal cliff.’

On the election, he said that “the American people voted for action, not politics as usual.”

“You elected us to focus on your job, not ours and in that spirit, I’ve invited leaders of both parties to the White House next week so we can start to build consensus around the challenges that we can only solve together.”

Obama: class warfare and raise taxes on “the weaalthy.” Same as France’s Hollande’s solution. Close your eyes and push class warfare and hatred.

Maybe just let ALL THE BUSH TAX CUT EXPIRE. Every single one of them. Then we would never have to hear the word Bush Tax Cuts again. Let the social security tax break expire too.

Reminds me of:
Slaves are made in such ways! The last time Longshanks spoke of peace I was a boy. And many Scottish nobles, who would not be slaves, were lured by him under a flag of truce to a barn, where he had them hanged. I was very young, but I remember Longshanks' notion of peace.

Oh good, another televised carnival of preening politicians. That will help the economy.

The biggest tax hike in US history begins Jan 1 - it hasn’t even gone into effect yet.

And we’re already being told it’s not enough.

Think about that while you’re job hunting. :)

GO OVER THE CLIFF... .....NOW! We really have nothing much left to lose. Oh, we will get blamed, but we will get blamed no matter what we do anyway. GO FOR IT!!

No, it’s better to use the dim playbook and just tax the “rich”. The deficit will soar as the economy burns. Then place the blame where it belongs, on the Zerocrats. It’s our only chance to throw them out in 2014.

That’s what I want to see happen. GOP House needs to stick to all the tax cuts being made permanent, or none of them.

Go ahead and raise ‘em all, Bammers!
Go for it!

Make sure to raise corporate taxes as well - through the roof!

And increase “targeted” entitlement spending another 40%!

And borrow money from other countries to cover what you have to print!

GO GO GO GO GO!

Boehner should hold a press conference and say.....“the American people voted for action, not politics as usual.”
So we are not going to stand in the way. We don’t agree with it but will not stand in the way of Obama and the American people.

I suggest that Atlas should shrug, go get his EBT card, Obamaphone, and free condoms then he should head out to Colorado where he can smoke a joint while waiting in line to get Obamacare doctors to approve his application for SSDI because of his depression, after that he should head off to Washington state where he can marry his life partner Hercules and together they can raise their eugenically created daughter Julia as she dedicates her life to following the path that government has designed for her......

Hey you need to stop reading this and get your sorry butt back to work, I want more free stuff.

Great idea - I’m all for it. Let the Democrats bear the burden of every tax hike. The Obama rear-kissing media will having trouble blaming Republicans for it.

Put this into prospective. Pull up a map of county votes in the US over Tuesday....notice the red. County by county...rural America voted Republican. They can’t overcome the urban vote around Atlanta, Memphis, Dallas, or Philly....but they can send Republican Congressmen in and send a clear signal about what they think.

My gut feeling is that sequestration is going to arrive, and the President badly wants it. This was plan A from the beginning.
