” the Jan. 1 fiscal cliff will plunge the US into a recession and drive the unemployment rate up to 9.1 percent.”

Good. In order to rebuild the nation, it needs to be destroyed. If you are a business owner, fire the liberals first.

Congress did this to themselves (and US, in spades) as a boost to 0bama’s re-election. They get no sympathy from me.

Let it crash. We’ll emerge on the other side a lot better off. No more “Too Big To Fail.”

Well, we know that taxes are going to rise after Boehner caved and sold out Republicans . . . . . . . AGAIN!!!!

However, I also think we need to look at recent history - the senate has failed to produce a budget for the past 3 years, so I find it questionable that anyone believes that they will reach an agreement on a budget deal in 52 days.

Whatever happens, America and, particularly, taxpayers, are going to take it in the shorts in a bad way. We know that New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day will be the beginning of the worst period in American history.

Our choices are VERY limited. We can 1) give in (like Boehner) and take it or we can 2) secede. Frankly, I’m pushing for the latter rather than the former.

Liberals thrive off of the taxes they confiscate primarily from the industriousness and work ethic of conservatives. That’s where most of the federal money comes from. If we secede and take our work ethic and money with us, the liberal paradise that zero is building on our backs will soon crumble like the house of cards that it is.

FWIW, I say let it crumble. We can salvage America, the Constitution and liberty by divorcing the left and making our own representative republic in the “flyover” country that is the middle of America.

And, NO liberals will be allowed in!!

Head of a major US bank says recession coming next year. Very bad one. Did not matter who won the Presidency. It is unavoidable. Second hand info though, take with a grain of salt.

My response was, when did the 2008 recession end ?

I think the outcome of the election is a direct influence of the economy for next year. Romney was not going to work miracles overnight, but we are in for a much harder landing now.

Obama and Reid need to be forced to the table. We now have a 4 year historical record proving that Reid and Obama cannot make the tough decisions. All Obama wants is to be able to do TV shows appearances in the future.

The only way to force Obama to the table is impeachment proceedings on Benghazi, Fast and Furious, American Citizens on Hit List, Aiding and Abetting Terrorists in Libya/Egypt/Syria and Firing Drone Missiles at Civilians.

My guess is Romney would have been acting just like Boehner has been acting. And the reason is, they have no choice because they wont make the tough decisions. Having the people accept the tough decisions would require honesty from DC. And that has not occurred in many years.

With all the Obama ranting that he killed Osama, I’d not want to be the Pres. traveling to Asia. He’ll be more exposed to all of the AlQaeda Radicals there?

I love AF-1 and would hate to see it lost, but damn I wish it would go screaming into the Sea of Japan.

Not gonna happen. We have a LOT of justifiable causes to impeach the Won, but none of them will prevail because it would end up as a repetition of the Clinton impeachment.

Obama has shredded the Constitution and given the finger to the rule of law. IMO, the only option left is for the red states to secede. Conservatives are the ones who fund the Democrats' largess and, if we seced and take our industriousness and work ethic with us, the Dems will have nothing but squalor and no one to fund their socialist pipe dreams.

Not exactly. The Clinton impeachment was hijacked by the RINO's when they primarily came after Clinton about lying with respect to Monica Lewinski. The charges I listed are all very serious charges that occurred while conducting his job as president. We do not even need to bother with the birth certificate issue. Very few lefties want a President managing a hit list that includes American citizens. The MSM has been covering up these acts and the only way to break threw that fog is with an impeachment.

Might also add that if the House votes to Impeach and the Senate fails to remove him from office, the states that want secession, will then have the moral high ground and also a legal precedent for building the case for secession. (IE - The US Senate has failed in its duties of checking the tyrannical power of the US President).

I fear you missed the point. In the Clinton impeachment, we had the same Congressional makeup that we have today - Republican-controlled House and Democrat-controlled Senate.

Even if the House wanted to open the justifiable door of trying to impeach the Won, it would be squelched in the Senate. Just like the Clinton impeachment.
