The Wall Street Journal ^ | November 8, 2012 | Editorial

For Republicans unhappy with Tuesday's election, we have good news—at least most of you don't live in California. Not only did Democrats there win voter approval to raise the top tax rate to 13.3%, but they also received a huge surprise—a legislative supermajority. Look out below.

The good news is that taxpayers from every other state won’t be on the hook to bailout California. The pain shall be within her own borders.

The California lunatics will run wild. The only problem is that Obama will graciously bail them out with our taxes. What a joke. California should be the wealthiest most productive state in the union. Instead its economy is coming to the level of Baja California.

California,

You get to be the first state to follow the path of Detroit.

Here’s a taste of what’s coming:

Enjoy.

And please do not migrate to another state.

I wouldn’t count on that. The federal government has a track record of bailing out and/or funding almost anything.

I don't believe it. The Marxist Obama and his agents will find a way to pay California. They may not call it a bailout. They may call it infrastructure investment, green energy, renewal or whatever, but we will all end up paying Obama's moonies.

Just because they raised the tax rate doesn’t mean that tax revenues are going to catch up with the spending. So the US taxpayer is not off the hook for CA’s debts. Plus..the Rat majority in the legislature will be dreaming up ways to get more illegals and minorities of the dole..automatically costing you more.

Too late for Colorado since we have gotten more liberal due to these transplants from CA and some from the East Coast.

Where did you ever get this idea? Do you really think that increasing taxes will EVER satisfy the insatiable greed of government and government union employees? My guess is that the increase in tax rate will DECREASE the actual revenue as the productive citizens leave the state and find ways to protect their incomes from the rapacious thieves in Scramento. And 0bama will not hesitate to spend your money to bail out has supporters in the Peoples' Democracy of Kalifornistan when they claim their revenues fell under their projections (oddly enough I'm sure their spending will greatly exceed their projections)

Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
“Relax, “ said the night man,
“We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave! “

Build a border fence on the eastern and northern California borders and GIVE THE F***ER BACK TO MEXICO . . .

And shoot to kill anyone who voted for Obama that tries to move back to America . . .

Well, I was facetious on half of this . . . guess which half!

what has to happen is that all state retiree's can only get their pensions if they live and play taxes in their home state...

no more getting the goodies and then coming to muck up my state...

California will become more and more violent.....more depraved....no amount of money can replace good people...
