I’ll never give another dime to the Obama promoting Red Cross that funded what was basically an advertisement for Obama in the final week of the election. Pretty dumb on their part since Obama wants to kill private charity and replace it with government.
The people of Staten Island today need their own independence movement, seeking secession from New York and asking to be adopted as the newest city in New Jersey.
In terms of life style and other cultural features they have more in common with the suburban communities of New Jersey than they do the rest of New York City.
Geographically they are as close to New Jersey as they are New York, and divided from New Jersey only by the same waterways that divide them from the rest of New York.
