Alert: Immigration sellout underway? (Boehner, Cantor, GOP-e ready to cave?)
Daily Caller ^ | 11/09/2012 | Mickey Kaus

Posted on 11/09/2012 7:37:39 AM PST by Qbert

Alert! The entire GOP elite seems to be trying to sell out en masse on immigration. Not only Boehner, but Cantor. And Hannity  (who works for pro-amnesty world citizen Rupert Murdoch). Even Krauthammer. …

Maybe these people are convinced the larger GOP project can be saved simply by caving on just this one issue...[Snip]. But by then there will be another wave of new, instinctively Democratic illegal immigrants (lured by the Boehner Amnesty) for Dems to appeal to.

[Snip]

The larger point is that “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”–which is supposed to be a simultaneous combination of an amnesty plus enforcement measures–is a terrible idea. It’s a terrible idea if it helps the Republican Party win national elections or if it hurts them..** As with the 1986 “comprehensive” reform, we will get the amnesty but not the enforcement–after the ACLU and Chamber of Commerce are through undermining it in the courts, and the Obama Justice Department is through undermining it in practice.  The result will be (as in 1986) a new wave of illegal immigrants, largely unskilled, who will bid down the wages of the Americans and legal immigrants at the bottom of the labor market.

[Snip]

A much better strategy would be to enact the enforcement measures (including a border fence and a system of employment checks), then wait a few years and see if they survive.  If they do, sure, come up with some kind of amnesty. You could calmly pitch that plan to Latinos–it ends in the same place (amnesty). But that’s not the sort of sensible approach you will insist on if you are part of a stampede of panicked pols and consultants whose only goal is to pander to what they think Latinos want to make up for their shortcomings in other areas.

These people, our party “leaders” are clueless. One of the reasons we are in this mess, praying that one or two states will swing our way so that we have a hope of winning the presidency, is because of their utter failure to do anything to stop illegal immigration. Now, they want to open the floodgates and ensure that we would never win another election ever again.

I wish they would just become Democrats and leave us to fight these battles without their “help”.

As Ann Coulter famously said: why are latinos getting "civil rights?" America's Civil Rights laws are intended to redress Black Americans' grievances over years of harshness. What did we ever do to immigrants? They broke our laws coming over the border from the Third World. What "grievances" do these latino lawbreakers have that they demand be redressed under US civil rights laws?

===============================================================

Mexico is pushing north at a furious pace---throwing its "pressure groups" over the border---salivating for reconquista---to takeover the SW--- financing and coaching their fifth column invasion of US borders.

The wailing and whining invaders' propaganda-----"just here for a better life, to do jobs Americanos won't do"---really "gets" bleeding heart sap-happy liberals.....and vote-crazed US politicians.

=============================================

The latino criminal underworld on US soil has more criminal enterprises than you can shake a stick at.

<><>ICE's "documents and benefits fraud taskforce" found a common practice among "impoverished" illegals is to buy several faked identities for several thousand dollars each----the illegal then votes and rides the US gravy train under several names.

<><> Jose Madrigal---the Washington staterapist---had some 30 identities. And probably voted and collected US benefits under every single identity.

<><>June 26, 2010 An illegal using multiple identities was sentenced to prison and ordered to pay back $3 million in fraudulently obtained unemploymet compensation. Manuel Mejia Ordonez, got eight years for conspiracy to commit mail fraud........and identity theft.

<><> Hilderberto Salinas sold state drivers' licenses issued out of the state’s Motor Vehicle Agency in NJ to illegals with multiple identities who did not have the necessary id's....among 40 people who participated in the widespread ring. "Impoverished" illegals paid $2,500 to $7,000 apiece for the licenses---which allows them to vote. //////FLORIDA---Broward County Registered Voters Admit Being Non-Citizens
Florida Media Trackers | 6/28/2012 | TOM LAUDER / FR Posted by Kevin C

Six non-citizens admitted to Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes they are registered voters but should not be allowed to vote, Snipes reported yesterday at a community forum. The non-citizens asked to be removed from the registered voter list.

The non-citizens came forward after receiving a letter of inquiry from Snipes’ office. As for the other suspected non-citizens, Snipes said she would “err on the side of caution…and wait for a more reliable list.”

Snipes reported the non- citizens’ inclusion on voter registration lists the same day an attorney for the Florida State Association Of Supervisors Of Elections advised elections supervisors they can resume removing non-citizens from voter registration lists.

Ron Labasky, general counsel for the Association, sent out a memo late Wednesday saying elections supervisors can resume removing non- citizens if supervisors have “sufficient documentation” that a person is not a U.S. citizen.

An official list provided by the Broward Supervisor of Elections shows 46 of 262 suspected non-citizens voted in elections dating as far back as 1984.

Last month, Snipes told the media that any non-citizen casting a vote is committing a felony.

Snipes sent letters to the 262 registered voters asking them to provide proof of citizenship. Snipes’ gave the non-citizens 30 days to respond.

Media Trackers Florida verified votes had been cast by using two different voter information services. Our review shows 31 votes cast by registered Democrats, 5 votes cast by registered Republicans, and 10 votes cast by persons with no party affiliation.

RECONQUISTA IS UNDERWAY Mexico's pressure groups---???new US citizens???---are organized to pressure vote-crazed US politicans to give back the Southwest.

===============================================

RECONQUISTA HISTORY Mexican-born actress DOLORES DEL RIO---was accused of being part of a conspiracy hatched circa 1925 by Mexican nationale Enrique Estrada to takeover Baja California. Enrique Estrada Reynoso (1890–1942) was a Mexican General, politician, and Secretary of Mexican National Defense.

Estrada was arrested in 1926 by the FBI under the leadership of by Special Agent Edwin Atherton. Estrada was heading a large convoy of armored vehicles and armed men east of San Diego, California. He was jailed in the United States for 21 months. Atherton had been alerted by an informant and a Mexican official residing in Baja, Clifornia (Mexican for "lower California"). Atherton was noted for having worked on the 1924 capture of a neo-revolutionary army of Mexican nationals marching to takeover lower Californa which was under the leadership of General Enrique Estrada. The capture took place at Engineer Springs on the California border.

========================================

WIKI Sometimes informally referred to as Baja California Norte to distinguish it from both the Baja California peninsula, of which it forms the northern half, and Baja California Sur, the adjacent state that covers the southern half of the peninsula. While it is a well-established term for the northern half of the Baja California peninsula, however, its usage would not be correct, because Baja California Norte has never existed as a political designation for a state, territory, district or region.

In 1804, the Spanish colony of California was divided into Alta ("Upper") and Baja ("Lower") California at the line separating the Franciscan missions in the north from the Dominican missions in the south. In 1848, Alta California is annexed by the United States.

The population is composed of Mestizos, mostly immigrants from other parts of Mexico, and, as with most northern Mexican states, a large population of Mexicans of European ancestry, and also a large minority group of East Asian, Middle Eastern and indigenous descent. Additionally, there is a large immigrant population from the United States due to its proximity to San Diego and the cheaper cost of living compared to San Diego.

There is also a significant population from Central America. Many immigrants moved to Baja California for a better quality of life and the number of higher paying jobs in comparison to the rest of Mexico and Latin America.

. . . Illegals are nothing but government growth hormone and amnesty today is nothing short of treason.

Well phrased. Succinct and creative!

The GOP leadership caved on illegals, 'guest workers', and 'compassionate' amnesty decades ago.

. . . More than half of all households headed by a Mexican immigrant (illegal or legal) receive some sort of means-tested welfare benefit, and given their level of poverty, those folks don’t pay federal income tax. . . .

H3ll, illegals of all ilk cost hundreds of billions NET per year as of 2010 study.

Low wage immigrants cost $20,000 NET per household as of 2007 study. As of 2007 there wee 4,550,000 low wage immigrant households.

Both parties have been busy importing poverty from cultures of big government dependence.

Good to see the Repugnant Establishment really is the sell-out gang of go-alongs to get-alongs we all thought they were.

Craven surrender isn't going to save their butts.

The old GOP is gone. Either a new populist GOP emerges that captures the votes of the white working class or the entire party will simply shrink to a sliver party that merely negotiates for the remaining plutocrats.

It was pointed out in the late 40's that no reasonable person could see how the GOP could survive: in a small factory town there would be 95 Democrats to 5 Republicans, typically the plant manager and the local bank owner.

But because of Dwight Eisenhower, Barry Goldwater, and then Ronald Reagan, the GOP not only survived but prospered.

The opportunistic looting of the GOP political capital by the worthless Bush family and various other seedy characters destroyed all of that. I guess every movement decomposes that way.

So the only way this charming little amalgamation of disaffected Southern Democrats and Northern Plutocrats survives is they bring the old cold state Democrats into the fold before the last of them dies off. People in places like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan voted for the freak Hussein because they thought Romney would let them starve in the dark. And they might be right. And if so, the GOP is dead and gone.

Either they fix that problem or....lights out.

Enforce existing law!!!!

Give a 30 day grace period to anyone employing illegal aliens and then a mandatory $10,000 fine for hiring one for a first offense and a 5 year prison term for a second offense!!

Importing Democrats does NOT help the Republican party. When will Republicans learn this?

Importing Democrats does NOT help the Republican party. When will Republicans learn this?

It's not just voters! When illegals move to a blue state, that state gets represented according to the population, not number of citizens! Does Boehner want the pork?

Foolish me! I didn't expect the GOP to betray the nation so quickly. Heaven forbid that Boehner be perceived as a racist. I'm calling my US representative to tell him to vote against Boehner as majority leader!

"Immigration reform is “an important issue that I think ought to be dealt with,” Mr. Boehner, an Ohio Republican, said in an interview with Diane Sawyer on “ABC World News.”

“This issue has been around far too long,” he said, “and while I believe it’s important for us to secure our borders and to enforce our laws, I think a comprehensive approach is long overdue, and I’m confident that the president, myself, others, can find the common ground to take care of this issue once and for all."

I saw something that alerted me to this just tonight on FNC.
It was on today’s Kelly’s America Live program (on my DVRed replayed ).
Replacement host said O wants to get this done.

I am getting a really bad feeling about this. It;s like unlike 2009 where Rs were ready for unconditional war now they seem to want to surrender on everything ,

Unfortunately for me I saw this coming and could do nothing to stop it.

To: null and void
The bigger the Republican win, the easier it will be for Obama to transfer the nation’s problems back to Republicans, blaming anything they try as the cause for the problems, as cowardly Republicans bail out. Now (2010 ) Obama is in a lose-lose. He gets the blame for any bad news, as did Bush before him. And Republicans stick together on most votes.
Obama see’s the light at the end of the tunnel being Republicans take over the congress..
